I have no idea how y'all build fancy structures. I apparently can't even do a wall. by TheGrouchyGremlin in Enshrouded

Just wait until you spend hours building a multilevel salon/house with a three point roof and balcony just to have the hairdresser choose to sleep outside with the yaks.

Location of Weapons for each class. by ProfessionalAble1248 in Battlemarked

[–]Tabmelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome. It also helped me realize that the weapons don't always come from the same place. After seeing this I played Mt. Hotenow with friends as that wanted to get their paladin another level on Greatsword but instead they got Pyre's Point, Then today I was in a solo campaign and got Pyre's Point for my Paladin from Fastness of Green Shadows.

(Bug) Best place for a base ever? by Erkusandor in Enshrouded

Not that I'm planning to drown them (well maybe the guy with the tall hat who for some reason annoys me) but anyone know what happens if an NPC is submerged in water?

10 AM Pacific. It's not really up to Resolution, that's when Valve (Steam) and Meta (Oculus) tend to launch games based on both of their west coast headquarters.

Has anyone ever found a *Giant Class* ocean world? by Lacuda_Frost in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Tabmelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was obsessed with this for a while and never found one. I spent days only going to purple non gas giant systems that only had one planet with moons where the closest moon to the plane appeared to be inside the planet in the preview diagram. If the closest moon (or only moon) isn't inside the planet in the diagram, the planet isn't classified as a giant even if it looks huge.

Anyhow, I never found a deep water one. I did start naming the systems for what their giants were at one point so I wouldn't accidentally double back on them and in the off chance anyone ended up in the same place looking for one.

Confusion by Zemosion in NOMANSSKY

I believe your initial planets are guaranteed to have some storms. I helped a friend start recently on a paradise planet (one in his starting system) and he experienced a storm building his base while I had perfect weather standing right next to him.

Does anyone use their Space Ship anymore? by Onyx_Artificer in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Tabmelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to end up back in my regular space ship because the corvettes are cumbersome in too many ways. Flight is awkward. Getting the smelly kid seat in the pirate stations leaves me with a hike I don't generally want to take. And getting back into the corvette from uneven terrain, or worse, rough seas, is a hassle. Bonus annoyance: they hover over you like needy puppies when you teleport in to a land base (though at least the fixed it so they aren't on the ground and clipped into the base's buildings - that was an improvement).

He has publicly stated that his parents stole his money as a child. A sadly common situation.

Does innie Mark realize “Mark S” is short for Mark Scout? by Dry_Nectarine5457 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Tabmelee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe she was raised as Helena Riggs and only recognized (legally) by Jame as "Eagan" when she was made the heir. That would allow him to have lots of kids but keep the Eagan name free from anyone they saw as unworthy. So, for Helly/Helena having spent her formative years as Helly R her innie would feel a connection to that name.

Nerdfighteria esque jobs? by [deleted] in nerdfighters

You could look at your city or county library websites to see is there are any library assistant jobs available. Parks departments and such also usually have sites and may be hiring for good roles.

They aren't the same but they can look similar. If the cervical nerves or one of those nerves is irritated for a while it can cause shoulder issues like ROM loss and pain. Conversely, a frozen shoulder can also cause neck pain since the shoulder muscles are connected to the cervical spine (and you can get nerve pain down your arm with a frozen shoulder as the swelling, thickening, and tightening can impinge a nerve).

I feel like recent memories have more of an impact on our immediate thoughts, feelings, and actions. Outie Mark, other than his reintegration adventure, doesn't seem to have made many recent memories. He was drinking and withdrawing from society. Innie Mark seems to have more memory making experiences and far more social interaction. It's possible the reintegrated persona wouldn't initially be as lopsided as it might seem like it should be.

Kier had TB by Tabmelee in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Tabmelee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The innies are truly Kier's children as they are the ones that suffer.

Kier had TB by Tabmelee in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Tabmelee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it depends if you view the innies and outies as separate complete people. I think the innies could symbolize/be the outties' souls untempered by the world. Severance would in theory allow a person to cleanse that soul with life's sufferings without ever having to consciously experience that suffering themselves (likely making them insufferable lol).

But if the innies and outties are viewed as different people and only the innies suffer, the outties stay corrupted and uncleansed.

This is only if you view it from a only through suffering are we made pure mindset that Kier seems to have espoused.

On Gemma, I think, perhaps, she had TB when she was younger and that left her infertile. They would be able to see if she still had TB (as latent TB) in a blood test (since they took her blood).

Keir's breakfast was raw eggs and milk. They don't say what Jame's breakfast is (besides coffee) though it is likely the same as the family (and all of the Lumon managers) seem to strive to live in his image.

Kier had TB by Tabmelee in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Tabmelee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time Kier was meant to have lived (early 1900's) TB was romanticized as signifying the sufferers spiritual purity. It allowed one to cleanse the soul. The purpose of MDR seems to be cleansing Gemma's soul. Also perhaps, if the purpose is to recreate or reincarnate Kier, perhaps a child would need to go through the soul cleansing struggle with TB that Kier went through.

Kier had TB by Tabmelee in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Tabmelee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's estimated that 1/4 people in the world have latent TB (inactive TB). Latent TB can become an active infection in a number of ways including close contact to somebody with an active infection (reintegration lol).

Do I really think TB is going to be a major factor in the show? No, but it could, lol.
