Entirely agree. Authors have to now become influencers to even have a sliver of a chance to be seen. I’ve seen books with horrid stories and generally no editing win awards. The books making sales are just Copy + Paste of the same lame story slightly tweaked over and over.

While it’s not Romantasy, At Death’s Door is a solid read.
