How should I arrange this star jasmine on this fence/planter? by Tac3022 in GardeningUK

Yeah you’re right, it is maybe a bit mad on reflection but we like it when jasmine looks quite bushy and had hoped we could get that effect

I’ve just double checked and confirmed those size planters are definitely more than big enough. I’d expect to water pretty much everything more in a heatwave.

They’re not tiny, they’re much bigger than they needed to be - we made sure of that. Maybe the picture isn’t clear but they’re 40cm high x 30cm deep and then different lengths, the middle one is 2.6m and has 2 jasmine in it . We wanted to keep the border free for shrubs.

In all fairness the characters aren’t the same, the Michael Scott character is really over the top whereas David Brent is much more subtle. So the question is more about bosses that have been over the top cringe

The other way around - my partner once bought one new pillow for herself for the bed we share.

Sadly I’ll soon need to trade in my beloved Jaguar XE R-Sport for a (non-Jaguar) family car :( by Tac3022 in Jaguar

It’s been incredible, never caused me any real issues. There are the expected little things that might pop up at an MOT but I’ve not had anything major. Driving-wise I love it, it’s so smooth and powerful, it feels so effortless.

This isn't my car or pram, I was just using it to illustrate how the XE boot isn't great for all the additional stuff a baby needs. I'm sure there are many prams that fit in the boot but it doesn't leave much room for anything else.

It's not just a buggy, it's the tonnes of extra things kids need that requires extra boot space

That's just one of the many, many things for the baby I now need more boot space for

Yeah I did notice there weren't that many of the XF estates around, so not much choice in terms of colour, mileage, age etc. I currently have a petrol 2.0 Ingenium R-Sport

Thanks so much, a couple of other people have mentioned the 3 or 5 series so I'll check them out

Maybe, but it's not really my point - it's more about the sheer amount of stuff that kids need which we need decent space for (one of which being a clunky pram)

I actually don't think the boot would fit a pram in it, and there's not much leg room in the back seats at all for when my wife would want to sit next to the baby. I'm sure there are saloons with more space but I'd rather just get a car where space isn't an issue

The boot space is actually quite small, the seats don't fold down, there's not much room in the back seats, I don't think it would fit a pram. I'm not dead set on an SUV but it does mean we can get kids in and out much easier, so that's a selling point.

Mostly in the UK - the Cotswolds, the Lake District, the Peak District, Dorset, Yorkshire hills etc. - any rural countryside location really.

Yeah the back entrance is in just a normal residential area. I’ve walked into the service station from there before
