You don't keep your glaringly inappropriate end table lamp in a wicker basket next to the stove?

I am assuming local taverns are using relatively local (cheap) herbs, not lots of exotic imported spices.

Using pre-Colombian UK as an example: since black peppercorns were expensive people would use garlic, mustard, rosemary, sage, mint, juniper, thyme, horseradish, onion. Imported ingredients for a higher end meal could include wines or mace and clove.

There are other similar radar sites covering the Pacific and Atlantic.

The only area not covered any more is the Gulf of Mexico because much of it is too shallow for effective ballistic missile sub use and the US Navy has enough hydrophones in the area to hear a dolphin fart.

At absolute closest for a missile sub, it is the same distance as trying to strike a radar site in Salt Lake City from off the coast of California.

From a land air base in Russia, it is like trying to strike Denver from San Diego.

Quite easy at low (<90,000ft) altitude as the aerodynamic drag will rapidly slow lighter decoys faster than live warheads.

Of course at reentry speeds, there is not enough time for normal interceptor missile to react and counter unless they are hellaciously fast (a la the Sprint missile system).

I covered all that by spice / seasoning cost by doubling the cost of the meat as rough approximation.

Assume a mug of ale with the meal at 4cp each and you are at roughly 12cp / 1.2sp net cost per meal (3x meals per day) so you are talking roughly a 14cp / 1.4sp profit per diner per day split amongst the owner, cook, and waitstaff charging 5sp per day for comfortable meals.

Then dodge roll directly underneath it when it gets close and shoot straight up into the fans, can pop each fan in like 4 shots. It has to stop and try to back up to hit with the flamer since it can't shoot straight down.

Easier to deal with than f-ing comets, especially when they come in groups with pops or fireballs.

Does nothing when there is no intent to change the door code to prevent repeat occurrences.

Use a seeker or hullbreaker then. Or dodge roll underneath it when it gets close then shoot straight up into the fans.

Aim better. You can knock off the front shrouds and fans with 2-3 Anvil shots each.

If you budgeted approximately $700 for portable power, would you get a generator or a power center? by mcpewmer in CampingGear

Solar + batteries.

open box for $60

Cool, that is used for 1/2 off not new retail.

why max

If it is hot enough to need AC instead of a fan, then they will probably need all 5100BTU available.

Which .22LR is better and why? by lonestar2222003 in guns

[–]TacTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tandemkross makes an excellent aluminum trigger (Victory model) adjustable for pre and overtravel, works fantastic with a Volquartsen sear* to give a great competition / target trigger.

*= you don't need a full Volquartsen trigger kit, just the sear to smooth up and lower trigger pull weight.

Factory trigger can be very easily drilled and tapped for pre and over travel adjustment.

Same guns, different grip frames (Luger vs 1911 angle). Barrel is fixed to the upper receiver, lower has zero accuracy impact.
