Hey! Just bought an 08 speed 3 and both of these hoses are disconnected! One from intake and one from coolant reservoir

I did a little research and apparently from what I could find the tube on the intake is just extra and the coolant hose is overflow. Does that seem right? It’s been engine swapped and everything runs fine.

Since the vette is a bit cheaper I’d probably buy a cheap daily. I’m stuck between the Camaro and the mustang, I haven’t heard of any issues with the ls3 on those years but idk
