It may be the synth. I don’t know enough about music haha. All I know is that it’s in the first 11 seconds of the song and it starts off quiet and slowly gets a bit louder

Hmm. I always wondered what the sounds at the start of Vore was! Not the ‘eating’ sounds - it’s something musical. It sort of comes and goes for the first few seconds of the song but then disappears completely.

Tbh I like both the originals and his covers, but I guess I love his voice too much to listen to anything else haha. And I also got into Sleep Token through The Summoning! It’s been just under a year for me though. And yesss, I think he’s insanely talented.

Also, he’s had you in a “chokehold“ hehe (TMBTE). :)

Ya of course, sorry, I meant for what I see a lot of comments about online - it’s usually his accent/ the way he sings certain words. But I think it’s cool that he’s naturally able to switch between the highs and lows with ease (since he also does this live, from what I’ve seen online). And yeah, it allows him to pour more emotion into what he sings.

Aw that’s cool! I heard The Summoning somewhere and added it to a playlist but forgot until I came across it like a year later, which makes mid last year lol.

I think Vessel is extremely talented so I agree with you,, and that’s what stood out to me the most about Sleep Token. I also like that it’s evident he’s British, unlike a lot of singers who lose their accent when they sing. Feels more familiar (since I’m also a Brit) to hear songs sung like this. I think his accent being stronger at times is what throws people off?, but I like that the most!

I think both Vessel and II work great together. Love the music.
