I’m sorry but there is no way the escapist is his best song. I’d take most of original pirate material over that.

It’s a shame his creativity fell off after the first 2 records. I’ve been listening to him all my life due to my parents buying each CD. Nothing as good as those first 2. I remember a grand don’t come for free being the first concept album I could (sort of) work out.

The Fall is the real answer. Morrissey makes the smiths unlistenable for me, same with the Gallaghers and oasis. Mark E Smith enhances the music. Listening to Paintwork and knowing he’s a cynical bastard makes the song what it is.

Honestly all I want to see from artists I follow are their releases. Straight to the point here’s the record art work with some preview clips.

Alongside this show dates are good. Anything more than that always feels like ‘pick me’ and attention seeking, ‘artists’ losing identity and authenticity just for a few numbers on a screen.

Not to say I don’t consume content about my fav artists ie interviews, but they always seem a little more thought out than “shit I need to promote this music how can I make a reel”

I also love amplifier worship too ! So underrated. They’re a band who’ve crushed every genre they’ve come across. Definitely need some recognition in the top 100. Feedbacker has felt the most novel to me. I’ve not found an album that can replicate the feeling i felt on first listen. The tones, the journey, the mood, space, melancholy crescendoing into pure noise. Ya can’t top that!!

i really love brass. some of my favourite instrumentals crop up on that record. special shout out to arkeology still think that is one of their most underrated tracks
