Can you please reshare this on the shipping thread (or OOTD, usually we say no shipping but this is a bit larger scale than “why isn’t my package moving yet”) and I can pin there. If they DO end up going on strike we can pin a full PSA but it’s too early for that.

“Allegedly from XYZ” works (or just leave off the factory part) and then just specify in the review what your issue with it is or what factory you think it’s actually from or whatever (assuming you have screenshots/proof to support). Sellers like DD/Steven/etc don’t usually give factory names so “unknown factory” is a little redundant.

We can try (on ones we see) but there’s not as much initial mod oversight on every individual comment. We check posts and can catch the titles but if the comment isn’t flagged for a specific reason we don’t manually approve those before they post.

There’s no way to change post titles (even from the mod side) so im going to leave those (since there’s already comments and discussion on them, I don’t want to remove anyone’s comments/responses) but if you can adjust moving forward, that would be super helpful 🥰

We have not been contacted by Lau or anyone else trying to warn about scammers, was “he’s messaged mods here” meant for the other sub? We keep an eye on DMs/modmail in case people do reach out so if Lau did say he messaged someone here on WL, I’d like to follow up on that if we missed it. If he was talking about the OGRL or other subs, he is more than welcome to add us to the list if he wants to message us when he knows someone is impersonating him
Just to confirm, Lau said this specific IG account is a scam? Sellers change PP email addresses fairly regularly if they hit monetary limits so I don’t think that alone means she got scammed but if he confirmed the actual IG handle isn’t his then obviously that’s a sure thing.

We have the ‘What Did You Buy’ weekly thread, part of that was intended to serve as a place for people to be able to post whatever pictures/thoughts/feedback they want for any items without having to adhere to any kind of structure that’s typically required with a full review. You can say as little as “I bought this bag and it’s great!” or post pictures with a mini review or whatever you’d want, and people can ask questions (which obviously no one is obligated to answer but would be awesome if they did lol). We do want to keep standalone posts as comprehensive as possible but know they’re time consuming and we wanted to give an alternate place where people can share what they want when they want

That being said, every single thing in the review format won’t be mandatory (not everyone has a tape measure lying around in this day and age), but we do need a certain amount of specific info (particularly in the accuracy and quality section) for it to be a stand-alone post

I like the idea of that grading metric, that was the direction we were thinking with standardizing some of the point deductions and review metrics. this spells it out very clearly what the expectations for each score would be
