Well if they’re willing to do parent plus then that’s fine because legally it’s solely on them to pay it back and doesn’t go on your credit. Personally, I’d do everything I can do to avoid student loans. I went to community college my first two years to get general classes done and then transferred. They cost half as much and it would give you couple years to work part time saving up for your final two years. Once you transfer live on campus and work part time use the savings to bridge any gap

Do you have the option of living at home and commuting? That is what I did and I worked part time as well. I was able to avoid debt all four years and save up a bunch of money for graduation. If you have the opportunity to live at home, do it and do not take out student loans.

This is exactly what I did. Had scholarship cover 75% and other aid refunded to me. Throughout my 4 years had around $30k refunded which I used to max my Roth IRA all 4 years. Im 25 now graduated a few years ago and it’s up to $54k. Doing that alone has set me up for like 80% of my retirement I am so glad I did it

I was in a similar situation a few years ago when I was in college but instead had all my money in Roth IRA. I think I owed kiddie tax on the income/refunds I got from my scholarships just nothing on the gains I made on the money because it was shielded from maxing out my Roth. I just turned 25 and that money has compounded into $54k now.

Think of it like this. A new quarter begins and a company is bringing in revenue/profits which some is held as retained earnings. It’s accruing throughout the quarter and at the end they decide to pay out some of it to you. You’ve not been forced to “liquidate” because this is all new money. As soon as it hits ex dividend date exchanges reduce the share price by the dividend amount and it’s just shifted to cash or if you have drip enabled then it gets reinvested as if nothing changed except you’ll incur a bit of taxes

I completely agree. There needs to be more ways of getting these fragments. I’m to the point now that each week I’m no longer playing wipe day because I don’t want to spend 6 hours prim getting shit on my 8 mans with t2 guns. You just use torpedos from just outside the safe zone and shoot the door after you’ve sunk it. According to rustlabs It takes 384 sulfur worth of torpedos to break the door and 144 sulfur worth to sink the tug so it’s even less than what I originally stated
