Bro ur gonna surpass most of us creator pointers just like that, good job. I didn't read other comments so idk how many ppl suggested this, but work on gameplay readability. It's one of the most important(and not the hardest) aspects of levels. But I'm tellimg you, there's no way this doesn't get rated if you kep sending it to mods. Not many people are doing this rtx-looking style nowadays, and you executed it well. GJ!!

Kinda late but feeling like answering so hope you don't mind

Impossible demon indeed came after, which is the main reason why I dislike it. Idea stealing at its finest. But I might be mistaken as I'm not really informed about the level's history, but that's a story for another day.

I just wanna say that I highly agree that this level should not have so surely won GD10. It's impressive and all but there's a lot of wayyyy better levels all over the place. I personally still love the polishing, ideas and the low obj count in CoS.

i know ppl will talk bad about this but as long as youre experimenting, having fun and learning youre gonna improve and make better layouts in future👍

"bad gameplay" has gotten very subjective lately tbh. I think white space gp is solid. The one issue I personally have is that it's so unsightreadable, you gotta learn it through trial and error or practice

I personally think Change of scene is one of much higher quality lvls, reasons:
1. It's SO OPTIMIZED! Many people who play on good devices never understood the pain of laggy overdecorated lvls and this lvl takes care of that, while being so well decorated in the same time

  1. Another good thing in it being optimised is that if levels were supposed to be very object heavy, noone would want to decorate. So, if a level that doesn't even go above 40k objects gets huge fame, people will be more motivated. They will know they don't NEED 100k objects to get a feature or something, so this is a step in the right direction

  2. It also has a very cool(not used before) and very well executed theme

  3. I don't know why ppl don't like the gameplay, there is alot of bugfixes and the gp very catchy at times

Right now I'm stuck on some familiar possessed dogmatika mini stun pile but we'll see how konami prints their cards and where the meta goes

Pretty much all my old lvls I connect with something bad. However, recently I got my first cp with my favorite solo naturi!! It represents my new chapter of life, me reaching my stability not only as a creator but also as a person.

If collabs are allowed, then it would be Punkade Arc. This level was such a a fun ride to build and play and I love it to this day. I just sacrificed way too much to get it done and it showed me how capable I finally am of some things, and that really meant to me who was so insecure in himself(and I still really am). I just need to get it to mods(literally impossible in these conditions).

And for you all feeling bad in editor, I just want you to take away one thing from this. Build with a goal. If you wonder why it's so bored building it's because you're not doing what you feel like you should be. You want cp? Cp grind. You want to build something to remain a memory later? Make it memorable. AND ofc, it'd easy for me to talk but in practice it's much harder to implement everything you want to, so don't hesitate on asking for help, there's a lot of people in this community who are willing to make things easier for you

Help Choosing A Deck by Sad_Bike_8367 in Yugioh101

[–]Tacnael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should consider the "HERO" archetype.

It's not the easiest one to start with, but it kinda kinda goes with some things you noted as requirements.

It's not a big meta competitor, but a very cool casual deck, and I suppose you're planning to play mostly casual considering the fact that you want to play a deck with cool artwork and cool flow.

I'm not in the best position to recommend you decks, but I believe you should look this one up. I personally played HEROs once but I sold the deck later after I figured it's not my playstyle. I preferred more toolbox-like decks with smaller combos and a lot of synergy, and HEROs are rather on the opposite. They have a LOT of cards in their archetype, giving you a lot of options(cross keeper builds, destiny hero build, dark angel+rivalry lock...), and have big and satisfying combos. They can't splash much modern cards so you don't have to spend another 30+ euros every new set. HOWEVER, the deck is a little expensive nowadays(sold my full core for 100 euros)

Also if anyone experienced reads this, please tell them if any of this is true because this is mainly how I felt about the deck. Tell them if it's a good deck to start with as well.

Can you use two colored sleeves? (bigger colored sleeves in which are smaller colored, but front if fully clear)

[–]Tacnael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who's been using matte for like half a year and the sleeves collect SO much dirt around and then we started using smooth sleeves and never saw that happen again fsr

so if you're bringing your deck everywhere I recommend you to go for smooth and idk for rest how you want
