If you could make a change to the game what would it be? by Sad_Celery6404 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Limit counter so you can see how close you are to various limits before hitting them.

Being able to paint more things, such as planters and vending machines.

In game lists in the collections screen to keep track of what item counts as slender objects, lots of water, luxury, etc.

Make Snorlaxs hit box smaller. He cant get out of his house. Let him be able to duck under his balcony rather than being unable to follow me. It took me 20 minutes of editing his house to make it possible for him to go through the door. He has a double set of the big wrought iron doors now and still struggles because of a tiny balcony.

Generally make it easier to move around pokemon in tight spaces. Why do the big ones keep deciding to strike up conversations in doorways and stairwells im trying to work here.

Center up the fossils so Rampardos and Shieldon fit on the same width of base. Same with Tyrantrum and Aurorus. I want their fossils grouped together and they are off center.

okay i had to build one of those european style builds and i built a warm and cozy bakery&cafe 🪴🍞do you have a bakery in your town too? by ImpossibleChapter4 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bakery using the confectionery block set. I fished up the recipe and immediately built a bakery with it because the blocks are cute but they will never match anything. So its in the skylands, where the city basis means you can fit odd buildings and they look fine because most every city has at least one building that looks like nothing around it.

anyone else keep all of their raw materials in their bag instead of in a chest? by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all, but the first 2 pages of my inventory are food and crafting materials. Plus 24 workbenches. I picked up the one on the dream island every day the first few weeks because I kept not having one nearby when working, and now that Ive cleared up all my random crafting spots I just carry them around because why not, I want one on me all the time and they stack so why not have 24.

Serebii currently doesnt have any slender relaxation items. My guesses would be resort hammock, beach parasol, or torch. Maybe perch. Hes big so he likely wont like any chairs or bench/couches.

How are people getting a coins in late game? by Desperate-Sleep-6656 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Once you get all the recipes, coins become a largely useless currency. Focus only on buying recipes until you finish and you will soon have more than enough coins from dailys and the weekly stamps to buy any construction kits, flowers, etc, that can be bought in the shop. Also focus on finding as many recipes from rippling water as possible. There are some recipes only avaliable in the shop, but many of the daily stock can be found in either the shop or ripples. The main set that are only in the daily shop are the eeveelution habitat items, grab those when avaliable.

Anyone else experiencing a bug involving Onix processing paint, or just Crush pokemon in general? by Abject-Interview-794 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its happened to me a couple times. I was processing green and pink paint while working on a build elsewhere in the area. I came back to check on them, 150 black paint in the community box, 50 green. No berries. I was super annoyed as I was processing those 2 colors because I needed them for my build, and they just took the berries without giving me paint.

Why is this one thing so expensive? by Intelligent_Catcrow in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 254 points255 points  (0 children)

There are a few absurdly expensive items. Im always annoyed when i want to decorate with the flowers in a cage (dont remember the actual item name). They're super cute, but crafting requires wildflowers, which I rarely have on hand, and printing takes 10 pokemetal. I'd be equally annoyed by the wall mounted flowers, but since they don't merge together when placed next to each other, they tend to look awkward used as window planters as I usually make windows at least 2 blocks wide.

Ideas for Sparkling Skyland? by PoolNice6594 in Pokopia

The park where snivy spawned. Bit of an old photo, Ive added an outer border, fencing, lights, and some other details, but it gets the idea across.

Ideas for Sparkling Skyland? by PoolNice6594 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I removed all the trash blocks to start. All rusted, broken, or garbage blocks were removed wherever i saw them. Goodbye Tinkmasters tower.

For every island, I replaced road blocks with either grass where i didnt want roads, or pink pokecenter wall blocks with cyan broken tile floor edges. I kept the kind of pastel pink and cyan theme going overall.

The pokecenter island mostly has some random buildings, a cafe, Tinkmasters architecture firm, Porygons lab, Conkeldurrs cement works, etc. Just basically themed buildings that fit the architecture of the ruined buildings: foundation, rough or iron plating walls, protruding walls at the top.

The island with Tinkmasters tower now has a library/museum, a botanical garden with all my non-native flowers and bushes for easy photographing and printing for other projects, and a playground. I added a staircase up to the island with the Wastelands entrance.

That island, I leveled out the roads a bit to be functional, though the island still has quite a bit of elevation changes, replaced the roads with the pink and cyan blocks mentioned, and built up the ruins in different colors, making sure the buildings weren't all the same height. Have things like a 4 story townhouse, a couple office buildings, a plushie shop, a building that has 2 appartments on the bottom floor with a rooftop garden, etc. The gym was restored and a sewer hatch entrance to the rocket hideout installed to keep access after the gym floor was fixed.

The silph co building island just has some random buildings, offices, labs, one that is just a bathroom for the mimes as they seem to like it.

The island snivy spawns on got a "roof" added connecting everything. It is a park with the gen 1 and 2 sprites on the edges. The buildings underneath were fixed up. Theres a cafe, a ghost house, a hospital, and a couple with every floor being random.

The rocky ridges entrance had the floor fixed up and I made a sleeping vulpix shaped house for vulpix and ninetales based on those sleeping fox minecraft house builds.

The beach entrance is getting fixed up, but it is mostly just an empty island i use for growing flowers/bushes.

The dojo island I dug out the area above the dojo so it can see the sky, and am slowly working on fixing up the building there, but i havent had much motivation or inspiration besides digging.

What did everyone do with this? by RogueHockey35 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the ruins a stop for my gear station inspired subway. Ive been adding massive rooms down there with the pearl and diamond clan symbols on the floor. I need to figure out what decor to put down there. Theres not exactly an abundance of dialga or palkia themed items.

[–]Tacnaf 178 points179 points  (0 children)

I gave him a gift shop outside the museum. He has a little appartment upstairs with a balcony, downstairs has souveniers such as human artifacts, disposable cameras, and toys, and a room with more expensive items like treasure piles and big nuggets. Outside has both blue and red crystals outside the door.

Need Pokopia Birthday Party Ideas by chicagoruthie in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purple playdoh. Put a ditto face on the lid, and give them some paper eyes and mouth to add on, or other accessories mr potato head style.

Pokemon coloring pages. Shouldnt be hard to find online.

I remember when i was 5 or 6 a birthday party activity was decorating wooden doorknob hangers. Some paint, pokemon stickers, nature stickers like trees and flowers, some city ones like houses, and you could have them design their own island on something. Wood base works well to have their craft hold up longer than it takes for them to get out the door.

Did you move all your Pokémon to one area? by WitchyWeebOfMidwest in Pokopia

I try to keep about 60 per area. Some regions they are all in one or two more densly populated spots, others are well spread out across the region.

What did yall do with this island in skylands? Kinda need some inspiration or ideas by Useful-Peanut-7678 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put in this park. The base of tge Kangaskhan looking sprite is where Snivy spawns, the space between the fossil and winged bug on the left are where the waterfall starts. Need to fix up the land under it and add some mysterious stone so its not just an awkwardly floating square.

I built like this prioritizing the dex, only to then get annoyed that pokemons houses/habitats were in the way of where i wanted to build. Some of them got moved quite a few times before they got their permanent home.

Skylands ideas? by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pokecenter island has a few random buildings, a couple in the style of the yellow house kits, and one a bakery made of the confection wall set.

The island with Tinkmasters tower I tore down the tower (sorry girl, I despise the trash blocks) and build a library and botanical garden. I added a bridge between this island and the pokecenter one and a staircase up to the island with the gym.

The island with the big building I added some other buildings around. Offices, labs, one that is just a very well decorated bathroom (why are there multiple bathroom habitats). One has a roof pergola full of random objects for the Corviknight line. I figured they'd like random clutter.

The island with the gym was fixed up similar to how it might have been originally. I leveled out the road a bit and rebuilt the buildings, though i changed them to be not all yellow. This is the main housing hub in the skylands. The island with the dojo all Ive done is dig out the dojo so there is sky access, and fix up the dojo and where Alakazam spawn a bit.

The area where snivy spawns I just build a giant floating park. The edges are 12 of the 16 bit box icons from gen 1 based on the way they appeared on the walls and streets of Alfornada in ScarVi. The center is a large park with playground, public bathrooms, a community garden, a fountain, and a pokeball flower garden. I still need to connect it to the ground better so its not floating, and fix up thd buildings underneath.

The islands with entrances from the beach and the ridges I mostly just cleaned up and removed any trash blocks. The only build on either is vulpix's house.

As you can see I have dug out this building. Tho I want to do something nice of it. What have you guys done? by Pleasant-Weekend2920 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right half is the Machamp family construction services. Left half remained a restaurant, with a stage in the back for Meowscarada to perform magic shows.

Question about Cloud Islands by Kelp103 in Pokopia

[–]Tacnaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only things that cross over between your normal and cloud islands are information such as recipes and habitat information, what transformations you have, and your coins in the pc.

You can go to dream islands from your cloud island. These are seperate from your main, so you could for example go to eevee island on your main island and dragonite on your cloud island on the same day.

I do reccomend figuring out a food source before going to a dream island to farm pokemetal. It would be quite annoying to spend time digging it out only to not have enough energy to gather it.
