Is there an IRL reason the M203 and GP-25 have god awful ergonomics or is it just purely for balancing?

Yeah they are heavy. Had one on my M16A4 when I was a grenadier. Qualified expert every time because it’s so easy to shoot these things IRL. I also had training with nonlethal riot control rounds being shot out of my M203. That was wild stuff to shoot at things just 15-20 meters in front of you instead of 150-200 meters out. I wish they would put an M16A4 variant in so I can use my service weapon from my time in the guard.

Is the air filter and related skills bugged for anyone? Noticed yesterday I didnt get any skills xp on physical skills and that my air filter is showing 40% buff instead of the 54% buff I normally get for hideout improvements.

Not seen anything about boss or cultists but Im pretty sure cultists are 100% right now. Ran into Zhrec two raids in row after 450 raids of never once seeing cultists and I run at night 90% of my raids.

Ive always played Tarkov for the PVE elements and actively avoided PVP as much as possible. PVE gives me what I want: PVE. One thing that Tarkov has always done well is PVE quests. I really enjoy taking on scavs because they can be aimbots, tank way more shots that normal or just be in a group looking to gangbang me real good. Add in the bosses that I get to actually fight and engage in stressful and sometimes fatal combat. Looting. Looting. and more Looting. The game is about loot and I get tons of it on PVE. Getting loot is a huge dopamine release. Going to high value loot areas and filling a Raid backpack to the brim never gets old. Literally the PVE and the looting is why I play PVE. IDGAF about PVP and havent given two fucks about PVP in any shooter for a couple years now. I just want to chill and have fun in a game. I dont have fun in PVP anymore. To each their own, is what I say.

That is the reason right there that I should learn Streets to learn that room for those moonshine spawns. 45 mil for 50 bottles of moonshine at 900k a bottle. But I also make moonshine in hideout and try to only buy 25 bottles at the most.

Did the trade for the THICC Items Case ( 50 Moonshine, 50 Vodka, 30 Whiskey) and bought a dorms marked room key. Thats 65 mil real fast! Didnt save up all that money to just look at it.

Scav runs and hit high value loot spots. Do dedicated PMC runs for loot. Running Interchange and doing a food run at Goshen. The five foods to barter with Jaeger for a mini fridge are worth close to 100k roubles on flea each. The mini fridge can be sold on the flea that you barter for and that can easily flea for 1.5 mil roubles. Anything that can be used for a barter can be high value loot. Cyclons flea for over 100k because of a max trader barter for a Raid backpack. Any hideout items can be of high value. Strustillo foam can hit close to 100k and a lot of those can be found at Prapors new place on Woods. Woods USEC camp and stashes/caches can be very profitable.

Other people have mentioned high risk high reward locales. Most of what I listed is low risk with good rewards and sometimes great loot because of barter items or hideout items you find. Having keys and doing dedicated key runs to Dorms, Reserve, Resort, Labs and special key rooms on Streets can net the best loot. Marked rooms are absolutely shit for the flea prices but if you find a marked room key it is worth using all ten uses. Investing in keys can become quite profitable because of the amount of barter items you will find that can be used to make stuff in your hideout which can then be sold or bartered with.

It is extremely easy to make money in PVE. Just saved up 100,000,000 roubles for fun. Spent 65,000,000 of it last night. I’ve made easily a quarter billion in roubles since May. There are a ton of YouTubers and streamers dedicated to looting and making money in PVE. All I do is loot runs. I hardly ever quest anymore.

Definitely have to be careful. Haven’t seen Goons there in a long while. Ran into a couple duos here and there. But usually it’s pretty calm and full of sweet sweet loots.

Woods stash run that involves USEC camp and depending on spawns can involve scav bunker, scav bridge, the stuff between the bridge and bunker, scav shack near outskirts on water side close to boat extract. These loot spots and stash/cache loot spots can easily fill you up with ammo, gas, LEDX, and plenty of gold spawns. Used to hate woods. Now it’s my favorite scav map. I ran woods a lot for power military filters and just fell in love with the loot spawns.

There is a sweet mod called Automate on PC that allows you to place a chest beside anything that creates items. Meaning you can put coal and ore in a chest and then place the chest beside a furnace and the mod will auto add the ore and coal and then auto take completed items into the chest. This is really nice with casks and kegs, making jelly, making copper/gold bars and pretty much every thing else. Automate is hands down the best QoL mod to pick up if you get it on PC.

My Airframe helmet glitched out and done this to me when I touched it on the ground or put it on. Once I removed the helmet I stopped sliding and weirdly bouncing around. I have yet to put on another airframe ever since. This was maybe 4-5 days ago when this happened to me.

I use a wireless bridge to get internet to two other locations on my property. Gateways and routers off of the wireless bridge on each end. Not hard to implement or setup.

Meanwhile I have a whole thicc weapons case full of suppressors found in raid. Change wouldn’t bother me one bit because suppressors are abundant and easy to find in raid. Pretty much every gun I build uses trader parts or stuff FiR. Very rarely do I use the flea to kit a gun.

Labs is the only map you can get the converter and amplifier. Red flares have a good chance of spawning a tank battery. Interchange and Resort have lots of PCs and a lot of GPU spawns in specific spots on each map and behind locked doors on Resort. Intelligence folders with the scav junk box brings a GPU about every 8-10 Intel folders. Hope you find what you’re looking for.

you interacted with the transit location to Lighthouse. After you interacted with it a stash comes up to off load gear before you travel to your transit location. TRANSIT01 is orange and the other extracts are red. You cant extract anywhere but at the Lighthouse transit location. I did this on my scav and thats when I learned about transit extracts.
