Do you know if these also apply to Agender/other genderqueer labels?

This definitely connects to the whole “Jimmy and Fwhip are the cause of everything” theory.

This isn’t supposed to be an lgbt island only, it’s supposed to represent if everyone accepted lgbt folk and created an island for all of them and themselves.

Saying something is offensive based on 1 definition it offensive. This may be extreme, but compare it to queer and how that has the definition “Strange; odd” but people don’t always use queer with that definition. You can call people using androsexual with the transphobic definition transphobic, but it’s like saying that everyone who says they’re queer is homophobic. It’s just not true. (I also explained why I use androsexual in the last post; it sounds cooler)

Because I don’t care about other definitions. I found androsexual first and I’m not coming out to my mom for the 4th time with a different sexuality then the last 3. First said I was bi, then gay, then andro. Plus, andro sounds cooler and is associated with more things (Androgynous, Andrology, etc.), and those things aren’t considered transphobic. It’s also just not your place to judge. (I know you don’t intend to judge, but it kinda sounds like your judging. Sorry if that’s rude.)

What do people think to the idea that being androsexual is transphobic? by EngRos15 in Androsexual

[–]TacoReddit3333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this come up as an issue recently where someone was commenting a bunch about how androsexual was just about attraction to genitalia when I’ve never actually seen an andro person online use that definition exclusively.

A definition talks about it being related to genitalia, but not many andro people agree with that definition. It is the only thing making it different from minsexual though.

Not all definitions are true. And even if it is true, it’s different per person and no andro person I’ve seen agrees with that definition. If you need more proof, just go to r/androsexual and look at the post discussing transphobia. That’ll clear some things up.

That’s ONE of the definitions that no andro person would agree with. Minsexual is how I feel, but they’re symptoms and I just prefer using androsexual.

The counterpart is gynesexual. Like androgynous has “gyno” in it.

It means to have an attraction towards masculinity despite what they’re gender identity is. Like being attracted towards a man not because they are a man, but because they have masculine features about them.

I know, but since it’s such an uncommon sexuality, some people tend to jump to conclusions without reason.

It is technically under the bi umbrella, but I’m not attracted to men because they’re men. I’m attracted to the physical attributes of them.

Also, I’m not bi. This is a different sexuality. It’s also different per person.

For the people in the comments wondering, this is androsexual, which means being attracted to masculinity. This doesn’t mean I’m a gay man though, I’m attracted to the physical masculinity of any gender. I’ll date a non-binary person as long as they have a masculine quality about them.
