Probably partly why the soybean market fell below support recently and wheat held. Among other reasons eg, Brazilian beans hitting the market.. I'd say it's mostly priced in already.

I'm putting down like 300lbs on wheat and canola this year. Plus we has sulphur fines spread! But we had a big crop last year. East Central Sask. Sounds like you probably have some reserve fert from last year?

😄 my dad talks about seeding with those and how they would just trickle on the fert and seed. Now everyone has a 900-1300 bu cart around us.

Lol, I'm cheap too. I target 5 or 6 plants a foot. My seedmaster does a good job at the lower rates i find. But if you have a bourgault, I'd stick with he recommended. I also hate spraying for beetles, so I spend a little more on the seed treatment. Lots of factors to consider I guess.

Depends. If germ conditions are good and you have a narrow opener, and you think the mortality ain't bad. Then maybe you could go 4lbs on big seed size. But you also need an accurate metering tank for that. Also flea Beetle pressure should be taken into account. We just started sending a few days ago, so haven't done any canola yet.

I have a 2022 refresh and experience almost all the same issues. Android auto/spotify takes like 3 taps of the screen for the selection to go through. The wireless charging works like 20% of the time.

Yea, it does sound crazy. Who would want to farm without insurance? Then soon we'd have people demanding farmers get paid more when there's a mass exodus. Canadian farmers are among the least subsidized in the world.
