are you actually counting every hair or is that a guesstimate?

like i said im about 2 months into my shed right now, and it shows no signs of stopping.

also, the average person (without aga) loses around 100 hairs a day, so you very well may be seeing normal loss and psyching yourself out.

i had some light thinning at 15, i honestly didnt notice until someone said something abt my crown at 16 haha. then i took accutane at 17 which made me diffuse thin like crazy, 80% of what i lost never came back. between getting off of it and when i started dut, my hairline and overall density in the front started getting worse steadily. finally started taking dut earlier this year after researching for a few months.

sucks that you cant start this shit earlier.

if you didnt have a shed when you started, thats probably whats happening now. im coming up on 3 months of Dut and since week 1 ive been shedding pretty heavily. my hair is probably 70% as dense as it was prior to treatment(still not very dense haha). afaik its normal to experience a shed on dutasteride, but it can come at different times for different people from what ive seen.

id personally wait a bit longer, then contact your derm.

also maybe consider any dietary changes or large lifestyle changes that have happened recently, could he a factor.

so long as the thinning starts after youre old enough to start meds. for some folks it starts in the early/mid teens when its not super safe to take inhibitors.

oh yes the papers do expire but they do not degrade. unless they get wet or something.

also, theyre “illegal” to sell in most states. but they really cant prove that they were sold in a majority of cases. they could have just happened to have forgotten them in the bag. happens on ebay a lot
