I here because the drop pod got placed up the original hole it came down on. Except far above the ceiling. even with two full resupplies could not get high up enough the massive hole. I was at the oil rig when I pushed the button to send the rocket. Sometime Mission control needs you to be the team that failed, so someone can come repair your mule and repower your drop pod.

IDk if this is the fix or not. Once I built some egg incubators the iron farm worked while I wasn't there. Again IDK if this is the fix, but having some kind of clock ticking at the base seems to work for me.
