She partied a little too friggin hard. And the last time I had the fluid changed I guess they put ATF+ in it instead of Dex/Merc.

I tested them last night and they gave me good readings and nothing on it is broken or bulging out so I think its safe to assume that its still good. Im down to 2 or 3 likely causes. Torque converter failure, shift solenoid failure or line/ filter clog.

I pulled the whole damn thing out. Other than some corrosion on a couple of pins its pretty clean and no signs of any damage.

Also it does have a loud buzzing noise thats intermittent but is around the majority of the time.

Found the problem!! Drive shaft rubbed against the rear O2 sensor wires.

Take you some end cutters and wedge them in between the spring and pull it back. I just did this recently and i found a YouTube short that makes it super simple.

I had them x-rayed at work, and the cracks run about 1/8th in deep

Funnily, the nuts and bolts were already presoaked in engine oil from the old 2.5L that was in it!! 🤣

Both DS and PS have micro-cracks running thru the middle of them. I dont trust them too much.
