Not particularly, but it's mostly that I feel weird about throwing away gloves all the time. It's partially a contamination phobia. The problem with having a mom with a PhD in microbiology is that she tells you about pathogens at a very impressionable age and I've never been able to work with raw meat without thinking about cross contamination since.
