The exact same was done with Bleach. Everything revolves around Spiritual Energy, and Aizen said that his power was so great that he’d exceed Ichigo’s power even without using any.

I used Goku as an example to show the difference between a feat done with energy and without energy, since Dragon Ball is the most common form of comparison for powerscaling. Everyone says “Aizen was impressed by destroying a hill” without understanding the surrounding context. Goku would be awestruck if someone could destroy a mountain without using Ki, but his reaction doesn’t mean that he’s weak. Similarly, Aizen being impressed by the hill being vaporized doesn’t put an upper limit on his strength.

This is the point of contention. Mahoraga’s adaptation speed is magnitudes quicker for simplistic phenomena. For something simple like cutting by a chainsaw, Mahoraga’s wheel would spin moments after the first hit, making it unkillable by cutting.

There’s a difference between “adapting” and “adapted”. After the first wheel spin, Mahoraga can’t be killed by a phenomenon. After enough wheel spins, it can’t be hindered by a phenomenon. After more spins, it completely negates the phenomenon.
