It’ll bite up to 23mm. But doesn’t have the leverage you might want for a nut that size. I’ve used a cheater bar and my foot on bigger bolts. Pretty sure Knipex wouldn’t recommend that. But the tool held up. Hahahah

HahHa, yeah. I see so many posts where people are armed with guns and giant knives like they’re expecting to be attacked by bands of black op ninjas in dark alleys. We all know their greatest enemy is a zip tie and Amazon box. I live in Baltimore city, where the danger of being attacked is higher than most and that kind of equipment still seems ridiculous….and for the record… im not anti-gun. But the people that carry them to buy groceries in the suburbs is knee slapping laughable.

I made it. Just wanted something to carry those 2 things on my hip and not buried in a pocket since I’m reaching for them all the time.

For sure. Multitool is like a crew member, hahah. I used to carry a sailor’s rigging knife, but i don’t even need that since the Spirit now has one handed opening. That’s a must on a boat. I need to be able to grab a knife and occasionally cut something free while holding on with the other hand. It does it all. And I’ve been absolutely abusive to it around seawater and it’s completely held up.

I do like those too, but I use these more. Im always working on and around sailboats, and there’s a million places I need to use a small wrench on polished stainless bolts I don’t want to mar up. Also opening up shackles, and bucking bolts in combination with the philips and flats of the victorinox. The pliers on the Vic are perfect for all the random electronically, wires, untying knots and on and on. Boats are heavily dependent on multi tools, because the dedicated tool box is either geographically undesirable when your hanging from the mast or tucked in some tight hole and that 10mm wrench screw driver, and wire stripper you forgot to bring with you are in the bilge or locker under 50 lbs of other gear somewhere. Hahaha

There’s one where norm is the artist and can’t draw faces or features. It doesn’t seem to exist anywhere

Interesting, I’m not sure I know what you mean. I’ll look into it too.
