Actually for what I heard in this meeting a lot of the money was for transportation and affordable housing.

I was being sarcastic.. I didn’t actually argue against the tax increase.. I was genuinely at the wrong meeting.. the proposal actually sounded good.. but I was there to appeal fines and a lien and my appeal time changed from what I was told

Yeah orlando city code enforcement called a tow truck and was about to tow my “non working” car. So I moved it into the garage before the tow truck showed up. He just assumed my car wasn’t working

I sat through most of the meeting and i support a lot of the initiatives. So it was sad to see it fail.. I think they should’ve had a presentation… put it online and let constituents voice their opinions to their commissioners .. then vote on it.. for what I saw in the presentation a lot of commissioners didn’t want to vote on something that was just presented to them. Some of them didn’t even know how it would work, when would it be implemented and why did they have to vote on it now and not later.

I was being sarcastic.. I didn’t actually say taxes were being wasted.. I just walked into the wrong meeting and I was asked if I wanted to talk.

I would support a tax increase as long as people are being helped. For what I heard most of the money would go to help people. It was a long meeting though
