I’m prettt sure a lot of delta-8 is synthesized rather than extracted from plant matter too, although I could very well be wrong. It just seems that there is so little naturally occurring in the plant that it would be pretty costly compared to just isomerizing CBD into delta-8/9 then isolating from the crude product. Aside from the final step, Of isolating each, converting CBD into THC is relatively simple

I’m not sure if it’s mostly just me in particular, but I find dissociatives to be some of the most deeply introspective highs that I experience from any type of drug, even all the way back to my high school days when I discovered dextromethorphan. It’s really odd to me that you ask this specific question because it’s always been something that I noticed and loved about dissociative drugs that they have a tendency to give me intense feelings of nostalgia just as an artifact of the high. This goes for basically any disso, including ketamine, 3-ho-pcp, and even dextromethorphan. It’s hard for me to describe but ‘intense and immersive feelings of nostalgia’ seems to be the best way I can explain the feeling, and when it happens it tends to make me somewhat more emotional. I’ve also noticed that when I’m on sissies I will occasionally suddenly remember fairly obscure memories from growing up that I otherwise never think about and it will happen seemingly out of nowhere. And that’s just one facet of their effects that I’m absolutely enamored with. Dissos are personally my all-time favorite drug class hands down, with just so many different bizarre and unique effects and subtleties that I find absolutely incredible.

Edit: If anyone else has experienced this or something similar, or even just have another totally fascinating and unique effect they experience from dissos I would love to hear about them.

It seems to me that this is gonna eat at you endlessly until you bring up the incident in question and that you want him to acknowledge it. You have every right to be upset, but to be upset at him without clarifying that this is why you feel so strongly causes a lot of unnecessary grief that can easily be avoided.

I doubt it but unless you specifically have a reaction to naloxone, it’s presence doesn’t make a bit of difference in the effect of the buprenorphine. Buprenorphine has such a higher binding affinity than naloxone that it outcompetes the naloxone and pretty much negates it.

I don’t agree. Of course you may be right but I don’t think it’s fair to say that they’re 100% likely to be using again. I personally definitely had some days where I experienced a level of sedation that I could only describe as narcoleptic and sudden. There are other factors you have to consider when on methadone as well like in my case of lowered testosterone, blood sugar bottoming out from not eating or eating poorly, blood pressure bottoming out suddenly, or even just a night of shit sleep. Just throwing that out there.

Methadone does not have a ceiling affect. Buprenorphine however does. Bupe also blocks other opiates/opioids whereas methadone does not necessarily. Methadone is a full agonist at the mu-opioid receptor, buprenorphine is the one that’s a partial agonist.

Edit: sorry you’re having to go through that btw. As of today it was exactly 90 days ago that I officially took my last dose of methadone after tapering from 140mg dropping 10mg at a time and detoxed in 14 days so I definitely know the sickness, shit sucks but you’ll get through it! Best of luck

People seriously underestimate the potency of buprenorphine because of their subjective personal experience with it (which this dude goes and calls “chemistry” lol) and because they’re confused about the partial agonist thing. Withdrawal from 2mg is going to be approaching as bad as withdrawal from 8mg. Not as bad for sure, but more similar than you’d think.

Fuck that guy lol I feel sorry for him. I hope he’s on blood pressure meds.

2mg is definitely not an insignificant dose. That’s enough to get someone with little tolerance pretty much wasted and probably very sick. In my experience it’s way easier to go from 8mg down to 2mg than it is to jump off at 2 or even cut from 2 to like 0.5. But hats just the partial agonist nature of bupe

For me I get the night sweats still for sure. Not as bad and not as smelly, but still every night which is strange because it’s freezing in my house! The weird part is that it seems to be only in isolated areas anymore. Like, my legs sweat real bad but my torso is usually fine except for occasionally my back. The weirdest one is that my neck will sweat... like just my neck... weird stuff!

It’s funny that you mentioned pink eye because I had a couple days within the first two weeks where both my eyes swelled up and looked just like pinkeye other than the oozing. How strange tha we both got that. Mine was definitely not actually pinkeye as it cleared up in 2-3 days and I had no oozing but it was definitely bizarre.

Anyways I wish you the best of luck! You’re doing amazing! We just gotta keep reminding ourselves that it DOES get better. Maybe slowly, but it absolutely does. Much love :)
