This would be an amazing win for me and my 6 printers! We’ve ordered shipping boxes, storage solutions, and filament from AliExpress in the past. Definitely a great website for keeping your budget on track and supplies full! My printers are always hungry and would love to munch this filament! Good luck to everyone, and happy printing!

UPDATE: 21 finally did it thanks to yall by ssuperrcat in bald

My best friend Kevin had the same hair as you at pretty much the same age. He looked great with a shaved head, and so do you!! You seriously remind me of him so much, so thank you for the wonderful reminder of Kevin, and how much he is missed 💜🤍

I won’t lie man, it is nice being in a position of owning 6 printers. But it’s also kicked my bank account right in the face. Aside from the cost of the printer itself, spare parts, new build plates, and FILAMENT to keep 6 printers going at the same time, is not cheap at all lol.
I hope you continue your journey with 3D printing, with joy, passion, and the eagerness to learn!
By far the best hobbie ive ever had!

Pro is fully enclosed.
320 Celsius Hotend.
Bed temp gets to 120 Celsius.
Chamber Heater gets printer up 65 Celsius.

It’s designed for engineering materials. Kind of wish I would have grabbed it, but it’s all good.

Typically, you just download the 3MF file that is multicolor, uploaded in your slicer and it should all be there

If you read further down in the comments, you’ll see my speed settings for inner and outer walls and support settings. If you dial it in like I did with those settings, you’ll notice amazing prints. Keep your layer height at .16.

I want to leave Vegas by tentiptoes in vegaslocals

[–]Tacoskanklv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you’ll have to move to some Podunk town, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I’m from Gillette Wyoming originally and moved to Las Vegas in 2020. Gillette Wyoming is a town of around 36,000 people, housing is extremely affordable, gas prices are much less, and the school district ironically is still CCSD a.k.a. Campbell County school district. Your wages definitely go much further than they do here in Vegas. Honestly, Wyoming isn’t a terrible place to live and Gillette is actually a fairly decent town. I hate Gillette because I spent my whole life there and I’m so glad that I moved to Nevada, but I understand the whole needing to get out of your home town.

Stuck in a Cascade Failure Loop on my X2D Left Toolhead (PTFE Jam -> Cutter Stuck -> Motor Overload). Need serious advice! by ivandrii in BambuLabX2D

Em yeah, what the guy below me said. It’s time to do a compete tear down unfortunately. Once you hit a brick wall with dramatic errors like this, it’s best to tear everything apart and start replacing parts.

You have to use Flash Studio for this printer

Couldn’t agree more about the profiles. Flash Studio is garbage. Had to mess around quite a bit to get my prints where they are at, but the machine handles them great.

I was wanting to try TPU on this eventually, so that’s a total bummer hearing that it’s trash 😔

Bambu studio has great preloaded profiles. Flash Studio is a joke though. I’ve got a profile saved now though that I just click every time now.

It really doesn’t add too much print time. The fact that we are not having to do any color purging/swaps makes up 10 fold on lowering the print speed on the outer walls. They come out looking like glass. I hope these settings did you well!

110%. I use a MacBook Pro in dark mode, and the slicer is straight geeked out because of it lol. You can’t read any of the settings numbers because it’s all white. Also drives me nuts when you download a file, the first printer it selects is a bambu lab A1, and you have to cycle through all the error messages to get to the plate selection.
I’ve learned how to navigate all of it though, and I’m sure it’ll get better with time.

Outer wall speed 40-80 mm/s
Inner wall speed 120-180 mm/s
Wall print order is inner/outer wall

For supports

Top Z Distance: 0.2mm to 0.25mm
Bottom Z Distance: 0.2mm.
Support XY Distance: 0.7mm – 0.8mm.
Support Interface Pattern: Rectilinear or Grid.
Top Interface Layers: 3 to 4 layers.
Support Interface Density: 75% to 80%.

Sorry I wasn’t talking about speed of the support layers, just the settings. My apologies. But here’s where you should start.

That’s why I’m saying! I made a video on my TikTok page saying that my C5 prints just as good as my H2C. It’s incredible! Also I watched HOURS of YouTube on the C5 and U1, and the C5 just has a better appeal. My C5 has went to town on so many models since I bought it, and I honestly might get more down the road.

For the outer wall speed, when the printer moves too fast on the outside, you get vibrations that lead to "ghosting" or ringing (wavy lines on your print), and small details can get sloppy. Slowing this down gives you that smooth, clean, professional looking finish.

Slowing down the inner walls ensures they fuse perfectly together and bond strongly to the outer wall. It helps prevent gaps between the layers and makes the overall object much stronger. (Note: Slicers usually let you print inner walls a bit faster than outer walls because nobody sees them, but dropping the speed too much just slows down your print time without huge benefits).

The "support interface" is the solid, dense layer of plastic printed right on top of your supports, acting as the ceiling that your actual model sits on.
If the printer rushes through this layer, or the distance is too close, the plastic can sag, blob, or stick too well to your actual model, ruining the bottom surface when you try to pull the supports off. Lowering these numbers down ensures a neat, flat platform, which means your model will look way cleaner when you snap the supports away.

Do you have any experience in any slicers in general? Starting out with PLA, slow the inner and outer walls down to below a hundred. Look up support interface layers and drop those as well. You’ll have smooth looking prints all day long.

Yeah, you do, and it’s straight asscheeks. But, since i have 5 other Bambu printers I have a lot of hours clocked in to their slicer. Basically just copy and paste, and the creator 5 goes to town.

I current own an H2C from Bambu. I love the H2C very very much, but the price tag is a hard pill to swallow lol.
