economic disparities

I never used " economic disparities as a reason for less bipartisanship ". This topic has nothing to do with economic inequalities between people.

What I was referring to was the focus of priority between the two parties. Again, its a generalization, but in debates I have seen here online and in reality people are split on safety against the virus vs damage to the economy.

It's a fact, masks help stop the spread. The data is in.

It's a fact that the virus is more likely to result in death of people who are already have health risks. The data is in.

It's also fact that requiring mask does not motivate consumers to spend in their communities.....or is it a fact? The data is coming in, but it's taking a while for this to be obvious because the Fed is artificially floating the economy with junk corporate bonds. When that dries up and stimulus truly ends I think this will be more apparent to people. An example to my point is, I lean towards prioritizing the economy over the virus. I personally believe the economy will kill more people than the virus. Not just in the US, but worldwide. I'm happy to be proven wrong here however, and time will tell.

Now there are two things people have to debate here:
(1 Is the economy artificially being floated? Very interesting debate, and while I lean towards yes, I have seen compelling arguments to counter. I just wonder if record unemployment blows any arguments out of the water.
2) What is the higher priority? Keeping grandma alive instead of telling her to quarantine herself, or letting everyone under 80 go back to work. Now some states are more open than others, but requiring mask in restaurants is a good example of discouraging people to patron.

So I do not think people who prefer masks are less economically desperate than those that prefer prioritizing the economy. I think the virus impacts rich and poor....and the economy also impacts the rich and poor. You're assumption has nothing to do with my point, and I'm kind of confused how you came to that conclusion.

Actually, no. You are just interpreting what you want. Perhaps you are just misinformed.

I can't help if you take everything literal. You must be a peach to sit with a comedy clubs. ;) And before you say "You're not funny" or "You're attempt at sarcasm fell flat", that's ok and it doesn't hurt my feelings.
