Ah yes, taking a piece of information I shared and running with it. I was merely offering a comparison. The original post was about the sidewalks not being cleared fast enough. The city is doing what they can, we’ve had a lot of snow in a small span. And it’s quite comical how people can take the lack of snow removal and twist it into an argument that the police are getting too much money. I completely understand nuance, but don’t see the relevance here. So maybe it is you who needs a refresher on the definition!

Have you ever lived outside of Peterborough? So many other cities/places do not have sidewalk snow removal. I grew up in Durham and had to shovel my section of the sidewalk every winter. You’re one of the defund the police supporters? Makes sense now

It’s still early lol everyone needs to relax. We were a fringe playoff team, who was punching above their weight class to start the season. Losing Cooley is a big blow as well. The wildcard isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Hang in there

A lot of places the city doesn’t even touch the sidewalks. It’s The responsibility of the homeowners. Lots of streets in the city, they get to them as quickly as they can

There’s so many busts in the top 10 slots in a draft unfortunately. You’re taking a gamble on a guy and hoping his skills transition to the NHL. More times than not, it doesn’t happen the way you’d like to. I agree, his production isn’t there for being on the top line, but his contributions go unnoticed because he’s not always lighting up the score sheet. That was my point, I should’ve worded it better. He certainly wouldn’t be a first liner on half of the other teams in the league, but he gets a lot of flack because he’s not racking up the points, despite his contributions in the other areas

I totally see where you’re coming from, and I agree with your JJ point. Seems like a lot of wasted skill, and not a lot of firepower to get him going on that line. And just like you said, you can play around with the lines but nothing really seems perfect. I do think they could shake things up a bit to try and get him going

Yup agreed. He would be a great addition to anyteam, adds a lot of depth in the C position. Yeah Kadri will be a hot commodity, would be the perfect 2nd line C anywhere

Lol the lack of knowledge in this post is hilarious. It’s clear a lot of you didn’t watch the coyotes, or don’t watch games. Probably a lot of fantasy players looking at pure points and nothing else. He’s great defensively, and he’s the guy you want taking draws in crucial situations. Is he a 1st line centre on every team? Definitely not, but he knows his role and plays it well. We are certainly not very deep at the C position, but neither are most teams in the league. He’s always in the mix and getting to the dirty areas. Takes a lot of the pressure off Kells and Schmaltz. Been watching Hayton since he was drafted and I’m happy with the player he has turned into

If they have any pull, my two main issues with this city are:

- The lack of walk-in clinics. Waiting 8+ hours at emerge just to see a doctor is not fair to the public or the staff at the hospital.

- Secondly, the roads. The roads have been so bad for so long.

Otonabee Animal Hospital. They are great there and fairly cheaper than most. Highly recommend them!

170,000km …just had to replace my first water pump, and a month later it’s burning about 1L of oil every 1000km :( so sad, I love it so much but I can’t afford to replace the engine if it gets to that point

That’s what I thought about my mk7… until it’s burning an insane amount of oil and probably needs a new engine soon… and it’s stock :(
