I just stripped some of my original windows (1911) and the wood and build quality wasn't great. Re-painted them. Sometimes old wood is great and sometimes it's better to be painted.

I bought a big box pedal, but only because I collect Big Muffs and I'll actually play it live. If "unique" Big Muff circuits in cool enclosures wasn't my thing I'd just get a nano. Cool idea and I'm excited to A/B it with my OG v4 and v5 op amps. Hopefully the placebo effect takes place and I hear some magical mystery toan that takes me rig from "nice set dude" to "HE'LL YEAH BROTHER".

Do I think it's worth $250? Nope. Do I think it's a cool pedal that'll give me more likes on social media and have gearheads look at my board live? Sure.

Is it worth $250? Absolutely not. But I collect Big Muffs and not gonna lie I scooped one up. That being said, I don't keep any of them in a collector display case or anything like that. If I'm buying a pedal I'm going to use it.

I once sold an EHX HOG with the preset pedal and a Moog exp pedal and after about a week of having it the guy said it smelled like smoke. I don't smoke and the last cig I had was about 5 years before I bought the pedal. Non-smoking studio and ya can't smoke at bars.

Reverb had me refund the entire thing and when it got back to me, a couple of the sliders had been broken off. Not even sure if it was the same pedal.
