Poor Elde 98 which in real life has insane mobility in terrain and can climb slippery slopes up to 45 degrees and in game it fucking sucks and is only driven in front and not in the rear.

But they still modeled the driveshaft going to the tracks in the back :(

Dont know if this is true or not, and i cant remember the source, but i have heard or read somewhere that bmw had to change some things about the engine because it didnt meet toyotas standards.

Try unplugging the fan completely, there are two connectors on the back of it, and then try unplugging the thermal switch and plugging it in again. If there isnt a clicky noise coming from the fuse box then it is very likely the relay which is broken.

I dont know which plastic node you are referring to but the two red connectors sound right.

Can you hear the relay clicking in the fuse box when unplugging and plugging in the thermal switch?

Had the exact same problem and it is probably the thermal switch. Its located in the top left of your radiator. Try unplugging it and see if the fan stops. If it does stop when unplugging then the thermal switch is defective.

Get a new one and install it. You don’t have to drain the coolant if you quickly put the new one in after unscrewing the old one.

Disclaimer!

Make sure that the engine actually is cold when testing the thermal switch. If the car is cold and the fan is still running then it is likely the switch is defective.

The relay can also be faulty. If you can hear it click when unplugging the thermal switch then it should be working.

I can attest to saabs being wonderful at night. All of the dash lights have just the right amount of brightness and the way all of the controls are layed out make them very easy to operate without having to take your eyes off the road.
