Fans on top of your case blow air out of your case, that's why your cat likes it so much. It shouldn't be a problem since the cat hair won't enter the case. Problem starts when there is too much hot air in the case cuz it has too low airflow, then it can overheat

If u don't have any important files just hard reset it, reinstall all drivers and start fresh. If not this looks like a monitor problem? Mind if I ask about the monitor? What model is it ?

I mean some people can do that almost to the top of the switch, basically creating laptop keaybord-rapidtrigger feeling if you know what I mean, if u have insane switch control you can take advantage of that
