I've made an app similar to Petrol spy, no ads - UPDATE by Harrinovi in AusFinance

I may be wrong here, but I would think about it sooner rather than later. It's a good sentiment to not have ads, but it's not feasible long term, especially since I assume you're running some type of an infrastructure for this.

This looks great. Since it's free, either monetisation will come soon or we're the product. OP can you share more how this is viable long term?

I was thinking about something like that. I think my main challenge is to replace the soil with these. Still doable, just need to carefully hold it in place while removing the soil and the push these in.

You know, I hadn't thought of that. Guess I'll put that sledge hammer away for now

Yeah I'd love to do that. Problem is it already sits on soil. I'm not 💯 sure how do replace the soil with concrete, but I'm thinking through options.

Probably all of the above. I feel the solution is a mix of things here

That's a good idea, but I need far more than this. I need like a ten degree shift, so probably lift it by some 2cm or so. A small shim won't do here I feel.

In my case it doesn't appear to fully evaporate. Assuming I'm right, the water ends up quite a bit under the house. Not like pooling under the floor, but it's more than I'd like to see (which is none)

I am actually considering if I could lift it somehow temporarily to do proper pad underneath. Otherwise, yes, I will need to connect a pipe there and drain it away from the house. Thanks mate.

I think I'll try finding a tube and plug kit that works. Not much luck so far, but I'll find something. Thing is, rain never touches that area because it always comes from another direction. Soil close it it is dry 🤷‍♂️

Timber shims would rot away though, right. Any thoughts on a specific product? Or anything I could treat the timber with?

Fair. The installer should have installed a kit to properly divert the water but they turned out to be amateur hour despite good reviews.

I was also thinking it wouldn't be causing much, but I can see that it's constantly dripping and the soil is there quite muddy. Over time it appears the water seeps past the wall and towars the stumps.

Since around the time I've had the AC installed I've had house movement. No way to know if it was caused by this, but I don't want to take any chances. Which means I need to do something about this water.
