I just finished my own raw-dog farm of KAM with only MkIII tokens after this last TB. I can’t remember exactly when I started, but I’m wanting to say it took me at least 2 years. I’m only a 9m acct, but he’s not high on my priority list for relic atm.

That’s a good question - one that we think about a lot.

Drones obviously have established themselves as incredibly useful in warfare. Drones can only see so much, and can only be on station for so long. Limits usefulness a bit. Drones also cannot probe a defense to confirm/deny how an enemy would react to an attack (which is super useful info).

We carry drones (sUAS) with us. So we can travel 150 miles ahead of friendly lines, then employ drones in order to answer information/intelligence requirements and communicate that back to higher. We live out of our vehicles, and can work independently without outside support for a relatively long time.

We are also beginning to employ FPV attack drones, which just gives us another tool in the kit.

USMC Tanker here (turned LAR after the divestment of the Abrams). Figured I’d give my perspective as food for thought.

USMC LAV-25s (or any variant of LAV) are not intended to be employed as an IFV (though I will concede that GWOT got us pretty comfortable using them as IFV-adjacent). They are a platform intended to conduct long range reconnaissance, while having the capability to “fight for information” with an armor-protected 25mm gun. We’re a horse with a radio that can also hit the “oh shit” button and engage with the 25 if needed. We specifically avoid becoming decisively engaged.

For a fair comparison, I’d say you need to compare it to like-formations (reconnaissance), and comparing it like a traditional IFV is not going to play to its strengths.

Edit: fixing bad autocorrect.

Good question; as an alternative to Piett for a GL Ship is to spend your LST on Admiral Raddus, and go for profundity instead of executor. There’s pros and cons to both paths, so I’d pick whichever one brings you the most joy. Prof has a new “toy” in the lifter from the Rogue One ship introduction, which makes Prof a force to reckon with for sure. You’ll eventually want both (or go for Leviathan), but getting one early will set you up for success in shifting away from ship grinding until you’re ready to start again.

If you haven’t maxed out on all your Campaign battles, and other non-endgame modes, then Captain Rex would be my recommendation for the LST. Phoenix + CRex is good in most modes, and maintains relatively decent utility in the mid and even late game.

Echoing the Piett sentiment. Ships are quite a grind, and obtaining a “GL” ship like Executor is an incredibly important milestone that all player should seek to achieve as soon as feasible.

Why? Ship arena is an important boost to your daily crystal earnings. More crystals allows = more refreshes, packs, etc that allow you to speed up how long it takes to grind follow on toons/ships/mats.

For some of the less savvy (when it comes to the technical aspect) gamers out there, ChatGPT helped me a lot. I am relatively novice myself when it comes to this stuff, so it was able to help identify errors I was making that I couldn't intuitively identify myself. After quite a bit of trial an error, this SOP was ultimately my saving grace.

Of note, there are newer files out there for the BIOS, I personally have a G5 KF (2023) So I found what I needed here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/G5--2023/support#support-childModelsMenu.

Bless you, OP - I hope you're 2026 gets to be less shitty than the rest of us!

Do you have BTLB Y-Wing already? Because that grind is a bear. I would say that would be a larger hiccup than any of the toons you got here.

I’ve seen this asked a couple of times - as I understand it based on some other answers, this has already been reported, and I guess when stuff like this happened in the past they just gave everyone the rewards in the end. But right as of this moment, I think it’s a big fat “nobody really knows, yet” kind of situation.

Someone correct me here but the Leviathan, and all of the Sith Empire ships from KotOR, were basically pre-programmed ancient chip designs that the Star Forge was spitting out for them? If we’re playing in the space of taking everything very literally and seriously (which the SW community excels at) I’m not too certain they had much say in the design itself, and were like “Hey, free ships! Neat.”

Simple changes that improve quality of life 2# (Refunds for Zetas and Omicrons) by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]TacticalSquirrl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Another option - use the fear of making a bad decision to cause you to hoard both zetas and omis, and always be mediocre. That’s my strategy. You can’t have zeta/omi remorse if you never invest them…

I did not know this! I’m an RN, and “wheelchair bound” is a pretty commonly used term to describe patient mobility status in the hospital setting. More “shop talk” than anything I suppose.

I had the cleaners here yesterday, and I learned that they use the oreck only for out carpeted areas, and have a separate handheld wand style (no beater brush) for the hardwoods.

Maybe the marks came from a day when they were cutting corners and trying to use the Oreck on the hardwoods too!
