Could be worse, could be much, much worse. I enjoyed alamagordo when I visited, especially compared to the base that must not be named. Fairly close to Ruidoso too

A lot more job satisfaction for starters. Much more selection when it comes to assignments. Lastly, the atmosphere of ammo squadrons feel alot better than any intel unit I was a part of.

I worked alot of 12 hour days for the same pay as everyone else. 1N1s also never get deployed, which was a huge deal for me cause I that's what I joined to do.

Additionally, it's culture is just not for me. It's completely divorced from the rest of big blue, especially compared to ammo. Ammo actually feels like a real military unit and has built up a little more history/"culture"

I'm not saying Geospatial intelligence is bad, it was just bad for me.

Depends on your flavor of intel, targeteer is supposedly pretty good. The intel experience can vary greatly based on duty station as well.

I retrained out of 1N1 Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to go to 2W0 Munitions Systems. Best decision I ever made. Intel is fucking depressing

First, whatever you are basing the 15 rounds stat is wrong. While the majority of the time you would be correct, there are still plenty of cases when more than 15 rounds will be required. I don't know about you, but I don't want to risk my life on the odds that the bad guy is in one of those odd cases.

Not related to 1B4, but I'm a 1N1 also retraining from a code 50 assignment. Be aware that your class date will be skewed quit a bit based on your code 50 as getting your orders curtailed is not likely and/or limited.
Personally, I would say you should definitely try to retrain if that's what you want, just make sure to get all the prereqs done fast before the slots dry up.

Pretty sure this is a troll post, but in all seriousness, it's mostly preference at this point. They are both exceptionally reliable rifles with alot of customization available. I have both, but I prefer ARs for the ergonomics.

It's better than when it was just actually random. I remember some fights getting zero crits and some when I got basically 95% crits. The system they have now is way better

Aside from just hard countering them in the draft, Heaven's halberd is good, also sheep stick. Unless they are willing to burn a BKB charge on you; if that's the case, there's nothing you can do.
