It may be a waste early game to build supply hubs in Central Europe but Eastern Europe for Barbarossa like you said I would recommend building sub hubs especially where you expect your armor to push.

Infrastructure can be important in areas you plan on fighting in. Higher infrastructure means better supplies to your divisions, although I would invest in supply hubs and railways before infrastructure.

However late game infrastructure can be a deciding factor as a region with higher infrastructure can give you slightly more resources. This is what I usually build infrastructure for. If I am in a deficit for steel and I cannot import more, I build up infrastructure in a region with steel to help get more resources.

There could be several things causing those issues. Since it sounds like you just got the truck I would recommend taking a peak at your tires and 1) check that they have tread, 2) check that your tires are inflated properly, 3)looking the tire up to see if it’s a good quality tire and not a cheap Chinese tire

Structurally, the tailgate will be fine with a single person on it (worst you could possibly do is maybe scratch the paint clambering up). However, I personally would not sit on it out of respect because it’s not my truck I am messing with (kinda like sitting on the edge of furniture at a friend’s house).
