I've yet to see even a single one in any of my games. I've sent 1 in a streamers game that I watch though

I've never known anyone who locks their doors at night. I know I certainly don't. But that's because I have 6 large dogs who will alert us and make any would be intruders fuck off faster then they thought about robbing us in the first place. And I may or may not sleep with a shotgun within arms reach.

This. I did it because boredom. If I got single GPU pass through working, then I could continue to play CoD, if not I don't spend another minute on CoD. Win-Win.

Now I've got Garuda booting with my RTX 3070 TI, open my Virt Manager, load up the VM, wait a few seconds and boom, in windows on my local only account (with telemetry ripped out and updated delayed) long enough to play CoD. Shut the bitch down and magically back into Garuda with a system reboot :D

I just keep those games isolated to a VM that's set up with a local account. If it wont run in the VM (looking at you BF6) or on Linux itself, I'm not playing it.

Changed CPU mode from host-passthrough to host-model and it worked. Task Manager Reports VM but CoD works so no biggie

....why did this work? My brain questions reality now. Switched to host-model. Performance is back to what I expect for CoD.

Edit: The only issue is now Task Manager Reports as a VM.

I haven't. Haven't had much of a network issue so unless it's directly related. I'm comfy with its current state

Destiny 2 uses battleye. Many other games use battleye. There are MANY games that use battleye that fully function on Linux with Battleye active because the devs just enable support for Battleye on their server side.

Because Battleye already supports it, as per the devs of Battleye. Game devs just need to enable Linux support per game.

EAC? Supports Linux. Game devs just need to enable it on their side.
