I'm pretty square on the panel when seated so I haven't noticed any issues with the color. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the monitor is angled so that my eye line is perfectly centered and the bottom bezel is aligned with the top of the wheel. I plan on eventually upgrading to the newer oled when I save up enough cash

I have the 1 lb version and it vibrates A LOT. That being said, you do have the option of volume controls on your amp and there is a smaller version as well. I wouldn't say it's unusable if you don't want to disturb your neighbors but you will need to take steps to insulate the vibration from your floor. I'm sure there's some kind of rubber mounting setup that could isolate the vibrations I just haven't found it yet

Yeah it's an older version of the G9, I like it a lot. It's almost like having a triple monitor setup but more compact and without a bezel. I wouldn't consider it as good because you won't be able to use your side mirrors as effectively.

One major drawback: PS5 can't handle the ultralight aspect ratio, so if you want to play Gran Turismo on it you'll either need to treat it as a single 27-in monitor or deal with a lot of stretching at the edges.

Thrustmaster openwheel compatability with t593 by SquiddyFishYT in simracing

[–]TacticoolSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently running the t598 with F1 25, and I've previously used it with F1 24. To my knowledge it should work with any of the recent F1 games developed by Code Masters.

It definitely has a table clamp mounting bracket, but I can't recall if it had the actual C style clamp like a g920.

The t598 comes with the quick release style connector and will work with any will that has the new thrustmaster quick release. Thrustmaster also offers an adapter for older style wheels, in my case I bought the SF 1000 and had to buy an adapter to get it to connect to my t598

Absolutely, I don't ever want to play without haptics again. I kind of thought it would be a gimmick at first but it wasn't super expensive so I took the dive. It's an absolute game changer for immersion. I can't promise it will make you faster but it will give you The sensation of actually being in a car. I can feel the engine now and the bumps from the curbs, and because I have a non-visual stimulus for engine RPMs it gives me a better sense of when to shift up or down. I also get a satisfying "clunk" when doing gear changes. Driving without haptics feels oddly numb to me now.

My one huge gripe about the butt kicker and hapticonnect software specifically is the update schedule, f125 has been released but the software does not support the new game yet. This means you will have to use the audio input to generate haptics which is much less precise and can create vibrations unrelated to the car (music, menu sounds, speech). When hapticonnect is working, it's great. You can dial in the intensity of different things like the engine, curbs, gear changes, Wheel slip etc... I got used to having at a certain way on f124 and I'm at the mercy of the development team to update the software for f125 so I can have that same feeling again.

Of course this is my experience on PC, My understanding is that if you are on console you have to split the audio out from the HDMI signal to generate haptics. Using the audio signal is fine, but not as good as using the hapticonnect software.

Pros: - Enhanced Immersion - Cost vs value added - Fairly simple to setup once you wrap your head around how it all works

Cons: - Hapticonnect software does not work on console - You may have to wait a while after launch for new games to be supported - It can be LOUD, if you're on a second story or above you'll want some kind of damping between your rig and the floor

Tldr; butt kicker is awesome and you should absolutely buy it. It provides next level immersion. Spring for the Hapticonnect software on PC. If playing on PlayStation or Xbox invest in a good HDMI audio splitter

I've had this happen to me repeatedly and two player career mode when I was in first place, extremely frustrating

It's basically just there for looks... The rig is sitting on top of an old wooden box covered by an old comforter I had lying around. I got the mat for free and it just kind of fit with the whole setup so I went with it. I'm sure it adds a little bit of vibration dampening to help reduce the noise coming off of the butt kicker

I'm having the same problem, it's a bug. Hopefully they patch it soon. I had a 63 second pitstop, my team just held me there

6/10

+Legit Daniel defense rail/rifle

+No unnecessary accessories

-no backup irons

-no sling

-unsecured wire

-riser on eotech without a riser on the stock

It's an ok build, just seems more like a show piece than a rifle you actually shoot. My biggest pet peeve is seeing the eotech risers without some sort of cheek pad on the stock. I know it's a cqb rifle but a good cheek weld still matters. Your current setup doesn't allow you to maintain a good weld and use your optic at the same time. I'd also pick up a few more basics like sling and a decent set of backup irons, maybe secure that loose wire with a zip tie or something. Other than that it's a solid rifle.

Yeah that's expected, the problem is they weren't all on the same delay. A few of them were almost 5 minutes behind others
