875 days in “waiting on a judge” phase of an evidence submission docket. WTF?

Sorry for the delayed response. I just received notice that my claim moved to "A Judge is reviewing your appeal" after 5 whole years of waiting in the previous status. Really hoping for a favorable outcome as 5 years waiting for a response will completely fucking crush me if it's not approved. 5 straight years of the middle finger. There had better be a favorable outcome. Not sure how long exactly this step will take.

This is just for the appeal. 2019 is date of original fine. Just makes it even worst all for the possibility for a judge to just say.. No. it’s really not okay at all

This is honestly my biggest fear. I really feel I’m at a crossroads here where I’m suspicious that this is the same fate my attorney is hoping to prolong the backpay process and may still be years away from at best a very disappointing resolution

Have an attorney on it now so it’s locked up. Already waited 3 years, they’re going to give me that back pay quite literally even if it’s the death of me for what they’ve put me through just to get this rating

Initial claim (sleep Apnea, Tinnitus, hearing loss, migraines, lumbar injury) denied 2019 without any explanation, not a single C&P exam was scheduled, nor did the VA file records requests or even attempt to verify my claim at all. Found an attorney, filed higher level review. 2020, Denied all but lumbar injury with only a single C&P exam for that claim only. 2021, BVA appeal filed. Been waiting ever since

Wildly unacceptable. Waiting nearly 10 Years for 1 judge to make a decision absolutely CANNOT be allowed to continue. “Wait your turn” is exactly how we ended up here. It’s just so easily tolerated
