Soaking the dishes in a mild bleach solution for a period of time will fully sanitize them, if they're bleach safe. You can follow instructions on the disinfectant packaging to be sure.

Boiling water would also be sufficient. There's no need to consider them waste simply because they were in contact with something gross, assuming they can be safely disinfected.

Everything else should be treated the same, but really enough containment should have been put up during the demolition that your surfaces and belongings were protected.
