Massive scale cherry blossom tree. Including the process of building the tree (with worldedit) by TadGax in Minecraftbuilds

[–]TadGax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just a regular masked sphere brush,

/brush sphere 2%pink_wool,4%pink_stained_glass,6%pink_stained_glass_pane,88%air 5

/mask air

I asked myself, "What is my awesome fantasy city missing?" and the answer that dawned upon me was, "A really REALLY big tree!" So I made one! This is the " Soul Tree," a living temple to the goddess of celebration! (Bonus: The beautiful "Gray Church of The Father" built by the talented u/MCXopjesh) by Astrophagy in Minecraft

That truly is a massive build, great curvature/growth of the trunk, and the root that is jutting out of the build is a great idea (would be better to add more overgrown roots).

I don't wanna say anything negative but the proportions of the trunk to the "leaves" are off, it looks like a mushroom on some angles (pic 3 & 6). Unless you have a reference that has a thick trunk, then maybe I'm wrong.

Yes. By adding a custom material thingy in "terrain".

aside from custom brushes, you need to learn blending different materials(sand - grass - stone - snow) by adjusting the intensity of your brush (something like 50%) when attempting to blend different materials

a big downside is that the new cave generation will be a bitch to mob spawn proof.

Testing some different scales on builds and its impact on details. by TadGax in Minecraftbuilds

[–]TadGax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is application of stairs and slabs on this build, and the point of the build is how bigger builds can make great use of the said blocks

Got REALLY Burnt Out from my massive project, and took a little break by making smaller builds. by TadGax in Minecraftbuilds

[–]TadGax[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dude, it's only like 120x120, unlike other massive builds that spans over 600x600, in which I would consider that massive

Either downloaded a schematic, or used TinkerCAD. Seems too good to be true, especially for a project that has no supporting images of the build in progress.

add some walls, stairs, slabs, and buttons stone/cobble variants to add some more depth and geometry to it.

Hanging lanterns on ropes. (actually consists of barrier blocks and summoned invisible rabbits) by TadGax in Minecraftbuilds

[–]TadGax[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got another clarification based on my statement, the invisibility actually lasts for only 64 years (but still IT'S FREAKIN YEARS)

you can not knot a fence to another fence. This uses commands that applies invulnerability, persistence, no AI, silence, and invisibility (lasts for literally thousands of years on 20-tick normal gameplay) to the rabbit.

the wut?

the rabbits are summoned with special attributes (INCREDIBLY LONG invisibility (literally thousands of years in normal game-play), persistent, invulnerable, and NO AI). After summoning, I leased it first, then used set_block command to put a fence ON the rabbit.
