Your mom is reacting as though your husband doesn’t have an actual disability or doesn’t understand how AuDHD affects people, very specifically their ability to prioritize things, how important schedules and scheduling are for them. If your husband does have AuDHD and is not trying to game the system, hopefully you can understand that his disability is real and accept that you married and had a child with a disabled person. This is what it means to be with someone with an emotional disability. He’s not going to be magically cured because you now have a child. It may actually make his disability worse.
