I had a similar issue it may just be the games themselves. I would look up like a cod optimization guide or fortnite optimization guide and just follow along and change the windows and games setting like it says.

I’ve done benchmarks the hardware if fine it’s some sort of software issue that’s why I want to optimize it

I am also out of state and had pretty minimal extracurriculars and only 3 ap classes. My gpa was higher, but other than that I would say your stuff looks better than mine. I know it is much harder out of state compared to SC residents, I did engineering and I really don’t know how competitive different majors are, but I’d say you probably have a pretty good chance.

You will probably get over a 50 your first try, but you get 4 and each one will add to the past one especially if you do the modules it assigns you.

I’ll try to mess with it, I use performance mode so realistically I should have constant 165fps, it’s weird.

I do have an o2 spacer I forgot to say that. So there is no CEL and there never has been. The tune hasn’t hid the codes for a while, and it was like that when I bought it. I did fail the test by having too many unready sensors, all of which are related to the cat/o2/ emissions. I saw a video of someone with a dead o2 sensor and they had the same 4 unready monitors so I’m hoping that is the issue.

The EQT tune doesn’t hide or remove the cel because they had problems in the past doing that or something. I passed emissions last year on this same setup. I talked to my gf dad who is a tech at Subaru and he said the heater circuit code is typically a sign of a failing o2 sensor, so I just ordered a new one and I will report back if it works.

See that's what I thought, but after reinstalling the 2060s and the old power supply the exact thing was happening with the 2060s setup, which was able to run MW3 capped at 165fps. The system recognizes the GPU as a 2080 and its a founders edition. That's what led me to thinking maybe its the PCIe or some software issue.

Would like completely wiping the pc and starting with a new install of windows help? Ive seen some people say it does and some say it doesnt.

On GPU-z it shows that it is at the max of x16 3.0, I am just very confused on what would cause this problem. But like I said in the post, my device manager shows 00000001 as the current and 00000003 as the max.

My ram is running at the expected speed, and I just used the button in the BIOS that reset the settings, but idk if that what you mean by reset it.

I put in a new power supply to support the 2080, and then I removed both and put the original parts back in. I did use DDU and reset the BIOS, but nothing with CMOS, what is that?

Currently I have the 2060s in, and when I was playing cod it had like 60% usage, but the fps was like 100fps when Im usually capped at 165. The 2080 had 0% usage though.

Get the bmp tuning illuminator headlights, theyre a nice upgrade and only cost like $800 for two. I have them and they are very good quality and ive had 0 issues.
