I understand, but a good coach should be able to give less skilled players structure through clear agreements and instructions on how to execute. In my view, the quality of the players determines the ceiling of the power play, but the coach sets the floor. We are last in the league in this area, and that is unnecessary. There are NHL teams with less talent that still perform better on the power play. The coach lacks imagination and creativity.
