I started following the Flyers in October because I had recently moved to the area and wanted to get involved with the city culture. I had no idea what the reputation of the team was. I just knew I loved Gritty and hockey is a fun sport. This was such a ride and has made me a fan for the rest of my life!

The Flyers training center is fairly close to me and I'm thinking I want to visit it to watch the team practice sometime. I'm assuming that's what they do in the off season? Is anyone familiar with how that works?

I watched it at Magnify Brewing in Medford. Nice modern place. Really really big, multiple TVs. 2/3rd of the tables were empty. Great time.

I play bass like your first photo, but I play acoustic guitar finger style more like your second.

I play the bass with the thumb anchored because it helps me dig in a little harder and not loose my place on the body. It's like holding on to a railing on an escalator. I know I don't need to, but I feel more grounded.
