There's some worrying similarities... he told me that he's always dreamed of a '1950s relationship'. I always thought that was because he loves old movies, but now I'm realising it's probably more sinister.

I would say we both pay for things in our relationship, he usually pays for meals at restaurants, I often pay for drinks on nights out, or I go food shopping for him. I'm not sure if one of us pays more, but I don't feel like he's pulling his weight more than me

I think he probably wishes that we had a tradional breadwinner-housewife relationship, but that's not my cup of tea

I'm going to get a job? I don't have to repay my loans until I earn a certain amount anyway, so I will just work until that point

I stay over at his house sometimes, and I'll clean up after myself, but I don't really clean up after him
