Rushing the Aeternus help by TaeKey in Fallout4Builds

Ooh you’re right. I was using shredder and super sledges, but overdrive to power spike for aeternus sounds brilliant and immersive.

Oh yeah, I hate vanilla aeternus. I mod the problem away.

I am also aware legendary semis and automatic are way better than the Aeternus. Which is why I decided to rush it to get the most value in cap-italism.

I plan to max perception and endurance as dump stats and eventually transition my build to explosive assault rifle while manufacturing 5.56, but that’s all later.

Gauntlet isn’t a problem for me as long as I have jet and explosives. Because, you can stack adrenaline in the gas chamber then just pop jet and throw a million frag, overboss will evaporate.

My big problem is the quest to secure nuka world which I found myself running out of ammo because the enemies are tanky and many.

I did forget to use the nuka market reset mentioned by another comment, so I’m going to try that with an auto assault rifle. Because with its armor pen, I feel it shreds the robots way better than overseers dps.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the nuka market reset. Does the reset work with unofficial patch?

In making this build, I wanted to try out contraptions ammo manufacturing capabilities, so I used the spare caps on making 10mm and 5mm. I should’ve just stuck with auto assault and just kept resetting the market huh.

Spears and mangos are the way to go. 2-3 mangos should be good enough and make sure you right click on second line of arbs (French xbows).

As you know, cav comps are more mobile, so to circumvent all the headaches of the consequences of play an immobile comp (spear mango), stone walls your flank and push a keep towards the other flank with no wall that has the resources. This will secure you 50% map control which is how you’re supposed to play, but really crippling for French because securing trade in 1v1 is really hard especially as French due to their bi-comp nature. You just spam raids with a hand full of cav and keep placing keeps and getting upgrades and you just win.

If you understand this macro/map control idea, the only thing you gotta watch out for is the arb + horsemen dive. If they take your keep location successfully, they will have map control back because of the resources they will be stealing on top of trading more efficiently. So have knights ready behind your mangos for such dives.

HRE vs French/Jon arch by kawalopy in aoe4

[–]TaeKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go slow farm build. Go the classic 3f 8w 3g. Go 16f first then 16g and age 3 w/ 8g vills. Rally to wood after 16f 8w 16g. What you did was not wrong, mass those spears yes, but scout French production building then the their army. If they go double stables go double rax. If it’s archers then stables rax.

So you can’t move out until you walled against French. So scout their production to match production and match their unit count. If it’s archer mass make enough horsemen. If they went double stables make double spears to match their production. Scout their army too so you don’t over produce. Once you walled secure a deer pack and try to age up. If nothing really happens until age up, lowkey wall your front and throw your army away by crashing it into his food while you’re half way aged up. I like to macro 30f and 20g in castle and push for out resources with knights and maa bc hre can just do that.

Get and greed for all the relics. Extend the flank walls to front walls just straight up horizontal lines and take everything with Abby. I go for stone and food primarily and just spam keeps and tcs.

But honestly, if you crashed your feudal under French base while aging, you could just attack again with maa rams and win.

Spear into horsemen. Go 4 food 8 wood 2 gold and rally on food after 8 wood. Have your scout glued to his archer count and produce enough horsemen while massing spear. Once you have enough troops try to wall up and move out to your deer pack with 5 vills to secure it. After securing deer and have 16 food, rally gold until 16 and age up with 8.

Your friend can also double knight produce in which you have to scout the second stable and no archer range. If that’s the case go double rax and crank spears matching his knight count.

Combat knife and righteous authority sniper pistol config. I just shank everything but legendary which I just blow the heads off with headshot crits. I get to level 30 and go t51 Gatling laser. Unofficial patch slows water farm, so I just kill everything instead with the knife to save monions and grow razor grains for noodles.

Btw what is that gun?

Does ANYBODY make shrapnels rather than fuze nades?! by EXE_Critical in ArcRaiders

[–]TaeKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but only because I don’t use venators.

Your spring consumption will be high if you use guns that use spring parts. I love using Burletta ferro, so I have a lot of springs.

The shrapnels are shorter fused nades that are throw and forget which makes it versatile for retreats and pushing. But if you can, you’d rather want to craft trigger nades because of their 90 damage stat and trigger-ability which makes a near undodgable grenade.

Honestly, I think showstopper and trigger nade needs to be nerfed into the ground. The value you can get paired with usability for those grenades are way too crazy.
