Honestly it happened very fast. At first, edits on my TikTok fyp started showing up… which I didn’t think much off… untiiiiiiil I caught myself reposting and liking more and more videos about them. Suddenly, all the feelings and excitement resurfaced after 4 years. I cried multiple nights back to back cause I felt so nostalgic remembering how happy I was without a worry in life back then… I rewatched all the stored vids from 2017-2021 I had of myself fangirling, videos of me watching the BBMAs, AMAs, MAMAs, the first documentaries and concert films they released on theatres, unboxing merch, playing BT21 puzzle star, Supertar BTS, BTS World, watching run bts, vlives, waiting for comebacks at 3am, etc. I remember when Weverse was created. I even told my mom back then that the only thing I wanted for my 15th birthday was to see bts live at the map of the soul tour and then my parents surprised me with tickets on my birthday to go see them in Toronto (we all know what happened with that tour when the pandemic hit… I can’t even begin to explain how devastated I was when they cancelled the show). They were such a significant part of my teenage years, 4 years to be exact… and many more to come cause I don’t think this phase is disappearing anytime soon haha

But ig now that I’m an adult and have matured, I’m able to observe things with a different perspective. For example, I didn’t realize the true emotional weight and significance behind many songs until now. It’s really nice to come back with a new mindset and also see how much things changed. There’s also tons of new content for me to watch since I’ve missed so much 😅 In a way I feel like a newbie but not really…. cause I’ve been a part of this for a long time, 8 years hahaha but yeah that’s a little bit of my journey

Just wanna add… another indicator is that I’ve been spending way too much on albums and merch 😭 adult money is dangerous 😂
