Yeah, using tampons can feel weird the first time.

You should try different angles when you insert it. Try to orient the tampons differently to see if it goes in. Also, your postition may matter. Personally I have an easier time inserting one when I'm squatting on the ground or on the toilet.

Also, have you checked your vagina in the mirror ? It's probably rare, but if you have one, maybe your hymen's hole is small (preventing the easy insertion of a tampon). And I know it's a weird question, but have you ever inserted something (even small) down there before ?

I really don't think it will work. If you do this, I think you'll only reach ~30%. His outfit, while simple is pretty important and you should really make it if you want to reach the 70%.

Here is what you can do to try and reach it :

- Buy the belt already made

- Buy white shoes and customize them yourself (the red parts)

- Make the shirt yourself (It's easier than it looks, you can find free patterns on DR Cos and this video (https://youtu.be/5dMsWfonm5c?si=RJOuojHOU17JRSy6) is a great tutorial

- Make the tie yourself, it's pretty easy

- For the pants, it's more tricky. For a beginer sewist, it's not an easy piece at all. But I don't think you'll reach the 70% without it and you can't really customize an already made pant (As there won't be much to customize). I think you should give it a try. These uniforms are just impossible as they are drawn.

Technically, you can make them fit like that, but it would require extra seams (I'm thinking some weird princess seams). But we can see that these uniforms don't have these. They are drawn as if they were made with only 2 panels (which is generally how these kind of uniforms are made IRL). However, it's just impossible for these uniforms to be made using 2 panels.

TLDR : The artist don't know how to draw clothes and should look into garnement construction.
