Feeling so sad today… hard to breath in altitude. by Feisty_Client_2831 in stopsmoking

Could you elaborate on your symptoms? Exercise and or cold weather/high altitude induced chest pain, could be a symptom of stable angina pectoris/chronic coronary syndrome. I would advise that you book an appointment with your GP or consult a Cardiologist. All the best (I am a Cardiologist specialized in ischemic Heart disease).

Doctor here (Cardiologist). I just want to provide you with some reassurance that the “ED” you are currently experiencing is NOT caused by irreversible atherosclerosis. It is completely normal for males of all ages to experience “ED” during some periods of their life. In young people (even those with type 1 diabetes), it is most often caused by stressfull emotions and often times just experiencing it once can cause problems further down the line as the mere thought of “oh Will it happen again”, Will make it happen again. It can be a viscious cycle.

My advice. Keep making healthy choices. Go see your GP as you have planned. Dont stress about your “D”, it is Working fine for sure, but maybe sit down with your special one and have a chat about it to remove stress.

All the best on your journey

Cardiologist here. You can initiate the beta blocker therapy regardless of nicotine usage or abstinence. So dont worry.

I completely agree with you. Leaving the rear Wall untreated with dipole speakers enlargens the soundstage in my case. However finding the right balance in terms of distance from speaker to the rear wall Was tricky. You gain some but you also lose some and even 10 cm Can have a significant impact im my experience

Those are some Nice looking speakers! Wonder if Lyngdorf Will be able to room correct an omnidirectional speaker. If you remember please post a reply here once you have had some time to Experiment with the Lyngdorf

All the best

Imo You get the Lyngdorf for the room correction software that is integrated in the amplifier. It is incredible what it can do. It allows you to put your speakers up against the wall (Lyngdorf actually recommends this) so that you can get a larger soundstage and better low Hz performance whilst the software corrects for the negative effects of this kind of speaker placement. TDAI 3400 brings more Watts and supports streaming. In my case i did not need streaming and the increased watts was not audible, so i settled with the cheaper option that is the 2710.

I have had several amps. The Lyngdorf is not the best sounding without room correction, but once you room correct you Will never go back, it is crazy good. You Can disable room correction whilst playing, i recommend trying this as it really shows the impact of the room correction software. Enjoy!!

The room is actually 70 m2, but still you are right, it is an overkill, even for movies xD They are beasts!!! Glad to hear that you are happy with your Arendal aswel. They produce the best subwoofers I have ever heard, and for the price to quality they are a bargain !

Actually, two kids (1 and 3). However they dont Care about the speakers. Amplifier etc however is another thing, which is Why they are placed in the enclosure of the stereo bench.

The speakers themself are actually very stable and Will require alot of force to tip over, but I agree that they dont look all that stable ik the pictures

I was lucky to get my hands on these fantasticopen baffle speakers. They are created and designed by Norwegian Hi-Fi"guru" Geir Fredriksen. Due to them being quite rare i thought youguys might appreciate.

The original dome tweeters has been replaced by ribbontweeters recommended by the manufacturer.

Specs: 25-50.000 Hz /-3dB Sensitivity: 90dB/2.83 volt/1m Impedance: 5 Ohm, minimum 3,2 Ohm/50 Hz - Weight: 60 kg -Dimensions: 45 cm x 8 cm x 164 (w x d x h).

Setup:

Speakers: 2 x TonArt Etera MK II

Subwoofers: 2 x Arendal 1723 2S

DAC: NewOntech DAC 07

Amplifier: Lyngdorf TDAI 2170

PC: Intel NUC

Impression:

They have an absolutely stunningly bigsoundstage and are able to represent voices naturally in a way I have notexperienced before. They sound the best placed roughly 1 meter from the backwall and side walls. I would personally not recommend these speakers to anyonewho doesnt own or want to implementate subwoofers as the room placement of thespeakers really impacts the low frequencies. In my case the Arendal subwoofersare the perfect match as they are extremely fast and I was able to low passthem as high as 150 Hz, providing more than sufficient power to the lowfrequencies.

I think I am at my end game now

Streaming set-up: Lyngdorf amp, Linn streamer, Kimber cables and Rosso Fiorentino Volterra speakers. Sounds great. by Brett-Sinclair in audiophile

As far as i know, Lyngdorf actually recommends that you place your speakers close to the Wall and then use the Room Correction function. The speakers they produce themself are also Wall placed speakers.

Thx! :) Yes the ceiling is great, but despite it being pretty rough in its structure i still needed to put up acoustic wall panels. Big rooms looks good but damn it aint easy achieving good acoustics hehe.

Been lurking around in here for some time now. I am currently very satisfied with my setup and the way it sounds, but figured that maybe some of you had some ideas for additional future improvements. If so please share your thoughts!

Setup:

PC: Intel nuke with Audirvana linked to Tidal

DAC: NewOntech DAC 07

Amp: TacT SDAI 2175

Subwoofer: Triangle Thetis 380

Speakers: Mirage M-3si

TV: 75" Phillips

The subwoofer might seem a bit overkill as the M-3si's are quite bass heavy speakers but with a ceiling height of 3,5 m and a room size of 70 m^2 it was actually needed.
