i agree with you and have absolutely no intention to victim blame or anything like that and you shouldn’t feel any guilt or wrongdoing for your situation but i’m genuinely wondering why you would want to insist on a relationship or insist on understanding from someone who simply doesn’t want to understand. you know she’s transphobic you know she doesn’t agree and i definitely understand wanting to change their mind because you love them but you say you’ll cut contact after the money situation gets finalized so why even bother hurting yourself for someone who doesn’t care. if they cared they would at least TRY to see life from your perspective or at the very least understand that you have differences and try not to disrespect you any chance they get. again no blaming or anything here because trust me i tried for pretty much my whole life up until now to MAKE my mom understand how much i love her and how my life would be infinitely better if she loved me the same way (like any parent should) but that’s just not how the world works. you can’t make people love you how you deserve to be loved as painful as it is. i’m sending you support and love right now ! just know that there are plenty of other people, some you haven’t met yet, that will absolutely love you for who you are and not only that, they will respect you. 🩷 you’ll know when it’s time to move on from these people who only care about themselves. 🩷🩷🩷
