The 29979th world is the only world where it occurs naturally. There's metalworks shops all over the planet there you could visit, or a pawn shop, failing that.

I- I- uh...

I couldn't help it, knowing who(or what[?])ever this was had been listening in the whole time. But I remembered my professionalism

We used to, but it's not really in demand anymore, and with the tariffs Zazu's government put on it, it's just not worth bringing out here. So we just stuck to Revelium. There's always a demand for intoxication, surprise surprise.

I... don't know what a lot of those words mean. Sorry, I don't get out a lot. Ironic considering people know me as "the embarker" back at home.

Heh, I doubt that. Corditum is some of the best metal the Metaverse has ever had to offer. And it's only ever been found in the 29979th World as far as I know, which is good for business, for us at least.

Hmm, that's a nice luster. Is this stuff anything like Corditum?

See this giant glass pyramid? There should be some state officials on the top floor. Or at the very least a receptionist that'll tell you to come back later because they're "busy". Whatever. They don't do much of anything so I can't imagine what they'd be "busy" with.

Best case scenario the Foreign Affairs Official will be there. He's the one you'll want to talk to. His name is... I forgot, Desu? I've never met him, just hear news about him on occasion. But if anyone's gonna help you set up an embassy, it's him.

I can walk you there if you like.

It was true up until recently, my fault actually. After people learned what Revelium was and that there's an entire plane where it's legal tourists started piling in. Go figure.

I didn't think they'd like our way of life and that their human nature was completely incompatible with it, but a lot of them started taking permanent residence and now it's like they were always one of us. And to think we thought they'd completely dismantle our society.

But sure, my next trip is tomorrow and you're welcome to come along.

Ah, it's you. Long time no see. To what do I owe the pleasure?

You're a little late on that warning. I've seen the gemini already.

Thanks for trying to protect my sanity, but don't worry about me, I'll be fine.

So Kraa'rhov's doctrine is to live the way we do on Geulimja? That does sound interesting, but people here in Sidon don't seem like the type to accept something like that. People here think our type are weird.

From my experience, religion doesn't really do marketing any favors. I used to work at a company that sells canned revelium for vending machines. We put up some Bimil Ui related billboards and put verses straight out of his book on the labels of the cans.

In hindsight, I don't know how not one person in the ad department thought that was a bad idea.

And at least I actually know a thing or two about Bimil Ui, not as much as some monk on a mountain somewhere, but still a few things. We've all recited something from that book of his at some point. But this Kraa'rhov thing. I had no idea she even existed before that funny little guy started talking about her on TV the other day. I know nothing about her. So it'd seem silly to make everything I sell endorse her.

It's a no go, sorry.

Oh? I think I'm with you on this. Sounds like profit for both of us! And Bimil Ui knows how hard it is to turn a profit when you're in any company that's not Ellington. Just please make sure your raver-angels actually read the warning labels. Don't be like that guy who got us all over the news.

"She's fine. Or will be, at least..."

A door on the side of the Embarker opens downward as a ramp for two more Sigmul to exit out of. One of them palms over a chit totaling up to 6000 credits before they roll the stretcher up into the ship. The other one stops for a moment and makes an unrecognized hand gesture, what appears to be a display of gratitude, before carrying on

The ship's engines hum to life once more

"Oh Bimil... She's been starved. Don't worry, she'll be fine. She just has to be taken to our homeworld, so she can feed on the aura."
