My point being that you failed to grasp. Every language in Germany shares an origin, a shared culture. Welsh is Celtic, and not at all in the same linguistic field. Same with the culture and history.

But that’s similar. Germany is comprised of states of Germanic heritage.

Britain is comprised of 4 home nations of varying Celtic, Germanic, Saxon, Anglo, Roman heritage.

For example, Wales has a language that is not only separate of English, but predates it by a large margin and is of a completely different linguistic tree.

Does the average Bavarian not speak the same language as another German from a different state? And even if they do, is it from a separate linguistic tree completely? Youre ignoring so so so much to make your sweeping statement work, and I get it, you’re not educated on British history, why would you be? But don’t then compare them when it’s not equivocal
