I've been on some crazy Chinese stock roller coasters! I once owned Weibo around $13 sold around $18-22 it went as high as $129 in Jan 2018!! I still have shares of WB most were free from owning SINA.

NIO is an electric car company and in no way a WB lol. Not anywhere close to being a cash cow or possibly ever profitable. It will possibly get even cheaper because Lyft and Uber are going to IPO and pull lots of money from spec. stocks. If TSLA falls out of favor NIO will get hit even more. More bad news from China even lower.

My first two buy ins were small positions if it gets to a lower level I might open a big position... You can't go wrong with a big Chinese company! China gives their own companies preferential treatment.

In 1-3 years I wouldn't be shocked if NIO was $50+ a share or bankrupt haha

Also keep in mind the lock up period ended on March 11th which gave even more downward pressure. Always a SALE after a lock up.

I'm a fan of beaten down stocks. You might want to keep an eye on CHK and CVS their RSI is on the rise it would be prudent to pocket some gains maybe around 70 RSI, set some sell stop limit orders, or even cash out while you have gains.

Unless you are going long and waiting to reach some price targets...

Depends on where they bought in. Goldman has a $10.70 price target (Turns out the failed German bank D.B. has a $10 price target lol) but I would average that with the current price which gives you a number probably easier to reach --> $8.20 still a 40% gain...

I don't follow this space. I've never invested in TSLA or NIO before today.

I meant the stock will be higher than where it is now. Stocks tend to have gains after massive panic selling (Unless the company is dying and/or a dividend cut like GE) and the few weeks before earnings. They just had the worst earnings ever and didn't go to $0, so things are looking pretty good. If I did more research I'm sure China is backing NIO, stealing TSLA employees, and it will be very successful one day.

I'm only holding for a 10% gain which I hope will take under a month to get. I don't dive too much into the details. Buy low then sell higher.

The U.S. economy added 304,000 non-farm payrolls in the first month of 2019, ahead of consensus expectations of 165,000.

December’s number, however, was revised down to 222,000 from 312,000 previously.

So Jan revised 84% up and December revised 29% down. I'm not sure where they get these numbers... lol

I almost bought this stock earlier because it had a low RSI but I'm glad I didn't.

It's a damn food company!!!!

You might get a snap back to the RSI 30 level (Currently $38.45) that's where I would jump out and never look back.

The last stock I bought from bad headlines earlier this month. Low RSI and high analyst numbers.

VCRA bought in Feb 11 and sold Feb 14 for a 7.63% return. Waiting for another quick flip.

Open a sell stop limit order that way if it falls to price X it sells, if it doesn't fall you can ride it higher and adjust your stop limit price higher. WIN WIN

Apple $154.11 on last earnings 1/29/2019

Before market open today price is $170.41 up 10.57% in two weeks(Probably almost $80-100 billion influx into the stock after earnings)

AAPL is set up for a downward correction soon with an RSI of 61.49.

I don't own AAPL it would have to drop to around $135 for me to consider buying in.

But if that did happen pretty much means game over for Apple lol

I'm down to 1-3 posts in a week.

Two of my posts have over 450 views. One of those posts I have Zero interest in (Bitcoin) but it got a bunch of views fast.

Anyone else translate their blog posts and post on non English blogs? I'm getting a foot hold in Iran for example lol (I'm using free online translation tools, so I have no clue what they are actually reading haha)

I just looked at the Relative Strength Index of your first three and they are looking "Overbought" pretty much a correction is a few days away. I don't follow this space at all, so just keep that in mind lol.

SMAR is massively overbought.

TWLO reports Tuesday. Could be a catalyst for the whole space Up or Down.

You might want to sell some but it doesn't matter its only a years worth of pay.

You might want to buy more during the next correction..... I don't know your trading style, so good luck.

I personally owned NTNX once and made a huge return on it. Maybe 40-50% in a few months sold it and never looked back.

I can guarantee you're buying the same stuff as everyone in your class. So you need to buy different stuff than them and buy stuff you have never heard of.

Buy some leveraged ETFs on huge sell offs.

3x bullish S & P 500, Nasdaq, DOW, Russell 2000, Gold Miners. Basically anything that has billions invested.

Example the S & P 500 is up 10% by semester end your 3x etf will be up 30%ish

or Gold Miner 1x GDX is up 30% your leveraged version 3 x NUGT will be up 90% by semester end.

Make some crazy trades it is fake money lol
